I'm so happy you showed what really happened and explained things cuz Miles wasn't ever the bad guy but a lot of the reactions make him out to be. Also I'm not upset at you but that last edit all o have to say is "F#$! THAT HURTS! I CRIED ALL OVER AGAIN OMG! THAT SCENE ALWAYS GETS ME 😭" But also thanks for using it. most only use thirst traps or videos that make him seem evil and then just end the video. I'm glad you showed more of what was happening and that it wasn't really Miles doing anything. more people need to do what you did in this. it's literally in my favorites playlist now and I've downloaded it.

As it says on the AU explanation. Miles parents in the movie are his aunt and uncle. Since they took him in, he began seeing them as his own parents.
So no, Nancy is not that close to them. Never really got to know them since she is a legal adult and was able to live on her own.
