  • Living in the Shonan coastal region south of Tokyo gives residents access to beaches as well as a doable commute into the Japanese capital for work and play.
In this video, we visit our friend who has been living in Shonan and working in Tokyo for some years now. They explain the benefits of living in the region, especially if you enjoy fishing, surfing, and other marine sports.

    Appreciated.
I guess its a bit better to visit there during winter or spring time like this....one can observe, absorb and enjoy, the sights and sounds at a slower pace.
Its been a while since i went there, it was summer and the place was just so crowded....
And I stuggle too with the sight of the sand color ha ha ha. after seeing so many other beautiful beaches around the world .....
but still a lovely place and covinient as its just around our own Kanto area

Yeah, this area can get super crowded during the summer, as can many beaches around Japan, before they all empty out on Sept 1.
