I raised a chick before. He was very attached to me. Would eat out of my hand, sleep on me. 😅 poops on me as well. But he grew up to be a very healthy rooster. I had to give him away to my aunt because I lived in apartments and she had a big backyard with farm animals. She would send me videos of him walking around the farm living his best life

Very cool!! I got my chickens as chicks but I found a domestic duck egg and hatched it in my incubator and got him three duckling buddies online so now I have 4 ducks and 5 chickens :) I love them ! You will have such fun with hatching them

Not sure if that specific model turns them or not. If it doesn’t then be sure to turn them 2-3 times a day. If not the chick won’t develop correctly and will also decrease hatch-ability. I just hatched my third round and it’s an amazing experience.

Great news. Chickens are so underrated. Just make sure they're in a safe place. Ours would go into their coop when it got dark and then we would close the door. Open it again in the morning. But one day a fox came by during the day 😞. But anyway, back to you. They will quickly learn who you are and will be curious when you bring them new grain etc. Good luck.

Oh yeah, I totally agree. Animals have definetily healing energies!! Medication can only do so much. For me medication seems to help me a lot, and I feel much better with it, but it is other things in life, like for instance these eggs that really brings joy, peace and happiness. 🙏🏻💚

It was cold when I recorded this video🙃 I was actually having two pullovers on 😅 I'm sorry to hear that you are suffering over there. I think I prefer this weather over 40C. It can be painful with too much heat, especially without being able to cool off with an airconditioner in the car or house. When I looked at the temperature today it was 18C. We have had some nice weather tho, but I can only remember one night it was too warm.
