    I carry a solar thermal blanket, extremely lightweight and great in an emergency and a water filtration straw. Also a tube patch kit, ya I know what you're gonna say

    I ALWAYS carry at least. A whistle, water, permanent pencil,10 foot tow strap, space blanket, rain coat, tire repair kit,all tool, clutch lever, lighter, snack, gps, self fusing silicone tape, duct tape, zip ties, snare wire,Jb weld steelstik, sawyer water filtration, and a small first aid kit ALWAYS it doesn’t take much space, and may make a big difference between a bad adventure and a nightmare

    So I have basically none of this. Should I just not ride til i get everything? 😅 My bike is brand new though so that’s a plus.

    Usually carry a gun, but only recommend if you have a concealed carry permit or if your state allows open carry.

    What spoke wrench do you carry? I've had a hard time finding a light weight small one for the KTM. Great Vids!

      Ha! That’s the only light weight one I’ve seen. I can’t seem to find one though. Bought my bike used and didn’t get the tools.

    Sweet setup. I feel underprepared on my rides now. Question about the oil you carry. If you were to need to stop by a gas station how would you go about knowing the right amount to mix?

    • @smileyhansen

      Carry 6oz of oil dump it in your tank and pump in 2 gallons. The pump tells ya.

    • @highlandcycles

    You have it covered. I don't like the screwdriver in your left pouch. Might be an accident waiting to happen.
    Wrap electrical tape around your wrenches. In case you need some.
    Last thing. 36"zip ties! They have so many uses.
    A basic first aid kit would be handy too.
    I'm going to add some para cord to my kit.
    Cheers

      The big zip ties are perfect for securing crazy spitting mad purple haired hiker chicks on multi use motorized trails to the nearest tree. Have been seeing more of those lately it seems, best to be prepared ahead of time - LMAO...

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  Před 4 lety +1

      I need to put a chain tool in there for sure. I used to have one but probably lent it out. And yeah, I don’t wear one while trail riding. I do wear one racing as well as a neck brace.
