March 24, 2023 at the Rhythm City Casino in Davenport, Iowa. I got to see her show. Stage was very much set up the same way. (more bottles on the refreshment stand.) The twenty minute opening act became a 40 minute opening act. Opening intro video ran 3 times before she popped onto the stage from to opposite side the daughter and the band was expecting her. She mumbled something about just getting back from Mayo clinic and kind of phoned in the the show for 45 minutes. Then the IV must have kicked in and the last 35 minutes was fantastic. I joke about the IV/ But she took the bandage off her elbow while on stage. Remember 80% of success is just showing up.
Did Tanya actually write this song? I thought Belinda Carlisle did as Tanya was telling her about her life as she played the piano. If she did write it, this song is so beautiful and so important to remember.
