great work mr tahir
Could you please advise how can I enter a specific tap-changer value in PU for 2-winding transformer supposing I have a 230/69kV transformer with +/- 6.25% Tap Changer set as 0.3125 PU .. How can I enter this value to PSSE to deal with during power flow analysis?
From where you got the excel file data
Dear Tahir, I am working on version psse 34. but you have worked on psse 33. so any major difference between them. because i created ieee 9 bus system. psse34 is not working as psse 33. please suggest me. what can i do for this problem.
How to consider and calcualte Mvar of load and asumption of Generator MvarQ??
Reactive Capability Curve for Generator and for load it is specified mostly
After changing set point , there is mismatch in infinite bus power . so can we consider it or we need to adjust load flow again ??
If the output bar message is Met Convergence Tolerance then no need to adjust load flow analysis. But make sure that all generators are supplying reactive power within its capability curve range.
Hi,Thanks for the video, do you know how I can search for a specific bus number on the SLD?
Go to ---> Power Flow and then G-out (Generate Bus Display). Then enter bus number
Another way is via Auto Draw option. Which is under the tools bar tab.
Hello Mr Tahir,
About Excel data, is the data from privately resouces or standard in IEEE?
Nice Video, Thanks for sharing. I have a doubt that when am performing the LF solution, The Pgen value at bus-1 showing 74.6MW instead of 71.6422 , I have tried several times , Can you please let me know the reason, why was it happened
Thank you Narayana, basically, the swing bus indicates the system balance. Please check either your one of the generators Pgen value is added wrong (low) or check there may be a mistake in the entry of Pload.
Hello,I would like to ask you if you have data from IEEE 14-Bus System in PSS/E and if you can share? Thank you.
10q very much sir. but
would u mind sending the parameters like bus data, line data and so on .... or
if u have a link where do u got those datas ... please share to me
May I have your email?
👍🏻 great explanations
