Zakk Wylde was 19 when this song was recorded. Discovered by Ozzy. Cant remember where. But the kid was a monster.
He 1st appeared on The Ultimate Sin album of 88.
~22 or 23. Zakk was born in 67 this album was recorded between 89-91 he was 19 on the No Rest for the Wicked album.
This was the first single off the album me and a friend of mine waited to hear this on the radio countdown for the first release listen and let me tell you it was worth it ❤
Ozzy along with Randy Rhodes will always be iconic in my eyes i actually have A Randy Rhodes Guitar signed was a family members who traveled as a rhodie for a lot of the Rock/Metal bands in this Era 😮😮😮😮

We had No more Tears and Metallicas Black Album the same year, I was a Junior in High School, saw both Shows. Alpine Valley and the Bradley Center
Megadeth had Countdown to extinction #2 on the album charts after the black album. And this was Ozzy's 1st retirement. People called the tour the no more tours tour. (1991).
This album was followed by Ozzmosis (1995) and The retirement sucks tour. I saw both in Winnipeg, Canada. And Metallica's Oh Poor Touring Me at the old Winnipeg Arena. Seen Ozzy 3x. Metalllica 2x.
That solo build up is off the hook. You know when you hear it epic awesomeness is coming! Btw I didn't see it on your channel, but one I think you'd really dig is Crazy On You by Heart.

Ozzy`s guitarist on this is Zakk Wylde, he is currently on tour with Pantera (filling in for his murdered friend Dimebag Daryl). You cant go wrong with Ozzy, I`d like to recomend Bark at the moon (The guitarist on this one is Jake E Lee, another great player).

I feel so privileged to have seen this concert in person as with no rest for the wicked the previous year. He is a true metal god! He couldn't create a bad song if he tried and because he had such great guitar players with his distinct vocals they could have turned the worst song ever written into a hit.

No More Tears was the first Ozzy's song I liked and then the first album I liked. But funnily, it wasn't the first song or album I heard, because before that a friend of mine had given me Bark at the Moon and I didn't like it at all. As time passed, I became a huge fan of Ozzy, but still Bark at the Moon is my least favorite and I don't think I've revisited this album for the last ten years. As for No More Tears, in my personal chart I'd say it shares #1 with Ozzmosis. Both are greatest albums ever.
