Slow Recovery 2021

hiiii long time no video xD
I got injured at the beginning of April, and didn't think it would take too long to heal. I never went to the doctor so I didn't find out what actually happened, but I'm pretty positive I tore a muscle or something in my arm/shoulder area. It was a weird injury, because I could cartwheel without pain but only specific movements severely triggered the pain. The first week of the injury I could barely lift my arm up and it felt dumb weak. After those 7 days, I figured it would heal up pretty quickly. I luckily had a few videos already filmed for a brand I used to work with, and that allowed me rest for about 2 weeks. I then filmed a few injured, but my wife really wanted me to just rest and rather us take out of our savings for bills than put my body at risk.
So by May I stopped tricking, only doing a few things on our honeymoon. At the end of May I was dying to trick..so I picked up skateboarding lol. Skating didn't really use my arm like tricking so it didn't bother my injury.
I started to make a small comeback in the beginning of July, but after a few sessions my shoulder felt weak and was hurting. I then decided its best to just get a job and stop working with brands and focus on healing my body.
At the very end of August I started back up with tricking, with 1 session a week. For me, it felt like it took a while to get a lot of my power back. I still feel like I need to baby my shoulder a bit, but I feel like I'm at a point where I don't have to worry about it so much. Super glad to be back tricking again tho!! Might make a video explaining in more detail about the whole injury process, but I hope you enjoyed the video :)
