Through Faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior we are gifted Everlasting Life. If you deny Jesus you are denying Salvation. I believe that Stevie accepted Jesus as his savior and is truly sitting in Heaven right now, unlike many others.
Especially after everything he overcame. The struggle of getting sober in order to save his life. His playing got even better after becoming sober which seems impossible. It’s a terrible shame
Still watching in 2021 and Stevie Ray Vaughan is still the music legend and greatest singer on a stage..band is fantastic..Phenomenal..RIP Stevie..still with you..
One thing i wanna mention that i feel is a little missed sometimes is that his voice is amazing as well i legit love hearing his voice almost as much as his playing
Take it all off Stevie Ray Vaughan..Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmy Vaughan ..both legends ..Stevie With blue's and rock n roll..rhythem and melody is great..great band..never be another Stevie Ray Vaughan..always gives a great performance
Fantastic performance, Stevie!! This is one of his hardest hitting performances that I've ever seen recorded. Jimmy always had a grudge against his kid brother. Is it not clear that Stevie and his brother were not on the best of terms at this show? Stevie, always turned up loud, I know, was cranking full blast, to drown his brother out. One can only imagine what Jimmy was playing. Jimmy was never allowed a solo. You can read his lips, "Come on!", when Stevie finally lets him play. I love SRV. this video is all for SRV. I'm just saying that Jimmy is getting his ass kicked by his little brother, AGAIN, at this performance. Thank you Stevie! Your spirit and music live on.
It was clear to me that Jimmy was jealous of Stevie's Talent🙁 because Stevie was so kind and the type to be very forgiving I believe that's why he agreed to do an album with Jimmy. I'm not saying that Stevie didn't love his brother, but I can read his energy and he's a cold person. It's all about Jimmy😣
Stevie had his hands all the way off his guitar for Jimmy's solo. I blame the sound man for not turning Jimmy up. I appreciate the work Jimmy did with with the Thunderbirds, but in reality, he has been a journeyman player, never gave it his all like Stevie Ray did. His voice is subpar, and when he solos he likes to strum. JS
Oh my God, I can't even describe the thrill inside hearing the way he kills it when he starts strumming that extension of his soul. There are no words, I think I've used them all ! There are other incredible guitarists, I know, but I've yet to feel from them the warmth of Stevie's virtual embrace when he goes off like this. And that tuff sultry voice! (Help, I'm melting!) To be stricken deaf would be the worst thing to happen to me before I leave this Earth. Besides the sound of my children's voices, I wanna go out with Stevie's Little Wing flying me home...☮️to all.
Woah, Stevie's 30 years old here, My dad saw him In 85 at the Utah State Fair He was 19 and Stevie was 31, Had his 31st Birthday 6 days before the show was on his soul to soul tour. October 9, 1985. RIP SRV, Talk about guitar playing! Wow
This might be my all time favorite SRV live clip---all the elements that illustrate his unique brilliance are on display here. (Man you can hear him ATTACK those strings---he played a very heavy gauge which was a key in how he got that ballsy, booming, fat tone of his!!)
How Fabulous is this performance of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmie Vaughan..Two legends and brothers..Double Trouble is fantastic on stage..Stevie always gives his best performance on stage and Jimmie plays his strat out to the airwaves and incredibly great..this is entertainment and the best you can get..Stevie is singing so terrific and this is truly wonderful..thank you Stevie Ray Vaughan
All the love that was wrapped up inside of you is still with us Stevie, you are a blessing in the heavenly realm. Can't wait to see you again my friend. Love never fails...
I am with you pomposo..saw Jimi myself in 67..but I am still in love with SRV. Like B,B. said..a black man in a white man's body. he has all the soul you can stand.
Stevie Ray Vaughan is the BEST blue's and rock singer and electric guitar player that ever held a guitar in his hands..Jimmy Vaughan is also a great guitar player and a terrific band ..Rhythem and sound is sensational..RIP Stevie..your still a hit in 2020 and your AWESOME..
A sister here. And I say this constantly. Stevie Ray knew it. It is all we have when we come here....it's all we have when we leave, the love and gifts to show for a life well lived helping others. Help that man you see with his hands out....where ever they may be. Help em.
My definition of the difference between Stevie and jimmy is this. Stevie is the top fuel dragster and Jimmy’s the vintage Cadillac. Both cool in their own way.
The legend of blue's and rock n roll..Stevie Ray Vaughan to be never forgot ees n..great rhythem and melody..and Jimmy Vaughan on stage, another Blue's legend and this sound is going out all over the world..How inspiring that is ..the Best of the BEST
I meant u tell them Stevie Ray that this is live.... Real raw talent that sounds awesome no matter what... No gimmicks, no tricks, no special junk, just the real deal!
I have been playing guitar for 57 years, probably longer than Jimi OR Stevie. I always said, that these guys must have picked up a guitar as soon as their feet hit the floor in the morning, and played it until exhaustion closed their eyes, early the next morning.
SRV- Oct 3, 1954 - Aug 27, 1990 26 years this year 😞😞, RIP Srv. you are the best guitarist of all all time. and thank you for writing your music and doing Hendrix's voodoo child and little wing. you are amazing! me Amber, Jimmie and all your other fans miss! my dad's lucky to of seen you and Double trouble in Concert RIP SRV
I hope so ... but the only RIP comes from making a decision to make Jesus the Lord of your life, including your eternity. Choose Life. Choose Jesus. NOW. While you still can, because time is running out.
Not get too deep , but SRV it was like a freight train of blues music. There was no stopping him in this world. How lucky we all are/were to sit back and observe him pass through during our existence.
well it,doesn't really matter in this case, b.cuz for obvious reasons jimmies guitar is turned down to the point where You literally can't hear it on this recording..even when Stevie isn't playing.
Most times you watch Stevie Ray Vaughan on youtube, it's always a set camera angle. What I particularly enjoy about this video is the shakiness actually. It takes away the typical environment or mood you get from watching him and feels like he's almost out in front of you in a way.
No doubt!!! Some people could find a ruby and a diamond, and spend the rest of their days arguing which one is better. Damn just enjoy for what it is, right?!!! Peace
Thanks for the upload. Stevie's firing on all cylinders like always. This whole show is something else. The best Little Wing/Third Stone From The Sun came from this show. It's on the boxset and man is it something else!
Words can't express the sorrow I feel when I think of his life being cut so tragically short. But his music lives on. What a special soul he was.

GREATEST COMMENT EVER FOR THE VAUGHAN BROTHERS.🧡
Hey John what other instruments did STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN PLAY?
@@elijahruiz6669 He was clean and sober for 3years when he left this planet.

SRV’s voice is knocking my socks off in this one!! Can I get an Amen up in here?
A SUPER AMEN
AMEN
Amen doggy🤙🏽
AMEN 🤘🏻
Now go listen to Freddie king on this song. Guitar wise SRV was the king. Vocals belong to Freddie King
Stevie's solo blew his brother Jimmie's solo
all to hell.

And maybe just one more wild nite?😎😎😎

His voice is amazing...
the only guy who looks cool wearing a kimono whilst playing a Fender Strat
Stevie had so much swagger, he could wear whatever he fuck felt like wearing, right!? ☮️
u guys all need to grow up. SRV was and still is awesome. RIP.
SRV on rocket fuel
normally I hate tattoos but everything about stevie is cool

As an amp tech who repaired for the likes of Skynyrd and Hatchet and Special, once told me, "You have to 'spank' a Strat to make it sing."
I like how they zoom in on his brother, Jimmie, then you see Stevie playing with only one hand like its nothin
