Have you ever felt happy when a car got discontinued? Let me know which cars!
Which car is your fav?
Maruti Suzuki Celerio 1st generation
I would be happy if alturas G4 will discontinue
The DC Avanti💀
Calling that India’s first sports car is an embarrassment. So underpowered and interior from the 2000s.
@@SUSSYBAKA691 completely agree 👍🏾 great point 👏🏽
There is nothing to feel happy about the Etios being discontinued, it was a favorite among cab operators due to it's reliability and it was a nice car for the passengers due to it's space and comfort. With the Etios gone we have to settle for horrible dzire and wagonr taxis and their cramped interiors.
You are right from the cab perspective but for personal use, it wasn't a real Toyota!
Toyota could have brought it back with aesthetically pleasing looks, better sheet metal, sound insulation & design with 50K - 1 Lakh premium as a Gen 2 Etios but they didn't...[ PS - Etios & Liva had worst sound insulation in sub 10 Lakh segment with the most powerful & chiller AC ]
Sub 4 M Norm Killed that car from the market & toyota transferred their cheap reliable taxi car throne to Dzire, WagonR, Celerio, Xcent,Datsuns etc. by not coming up with anything solid again ...
Wagonr and dzire comfort is so good. Don't compare it with that discontinued etios
@@arnav1328stfu kid!
Dzire and wagonr can be good in comfort but what about safety and build quality?
Etios was a rough and tough car
That's why it was safer for tourist and travelling use
Whereas wagonr and dzire are those little tin cans
Where your life is at risk 24/7

5 cars i am sad that got discontinued
1. VW Polo
2. Ford Endeavour
3. Chevrolet cruze
4. Tata Safari Storme
5. Xuv 500
Edit: Honda Civic
True bro❤️
Tata hexa
XUV 500 is not discontinued. It's rebadged version is XUV700. Gangadhar hi shaktimaan hai 😀
Freestyle ecosport
Fiat punto and linea😢
Legends are waiting for EVs to get discontinued 💀
Same here bro 🤣🤣🤣
Petrol darti me katham ho gya tho kya karega bro😁😂

I hate ev's, but they are the future we can't do anything about it

Faisal doing a great job with his informative videos!
I have a etios liva G 2014 model and it is absolutely practical, even the performance and mileage are good... Very reliable and comfortable too.
Only problem is with ground clearance.
My parents don't own any of these 5 cars. But we own a Duster 2016 model which got discounted this year. Happy to own one 😊
My father had a Fiat Linea. Forget about discontinued, the company itself packed its bags and left. But the car was so fine, felt so solid. For the price of 7.5 lakhs in 2008, it was a great car. Try getting a similar car now for that price.
Agreed..
7.5 lakhs in 2008 is 19 lakhs today. I am fairly certain we can get much better cars today for even cheaper!
FIAT IS FIAT.. only those who drove n maintained will know it's true value
7.5 in 2008 was overpriced though
fiat didn't go anywhere and they still sell the new linea
My neighbors had a Purple Estilo. I guess I was the only one who like that ( With that color specifically) because it reminded me of Cadbury gems purple which I used to eat everyday.
We still have it, they gave a minor facelift in 2011 where it got 1.0 3cylinder engine replacing the older one and also got minor look's change (u can notice when they stand together)
Wagonr was better but we gotta buy something different
We had an Estilo, and we got a black one as it was the only colour in the range which did not make people cringe upon seeing it ( including me)
@@s.dskott6634 we got dusky brown the most unique one with new update
@@jishnudewan6233 that's cool that you still have it.
@@s.dskott6634 yeah the black was good too . The front of estilo somehow resembles the first gen ertiga
These kind of vids are great to watch. Loved it. Continue making them. Happy new yr
Etios - good comfort
Practicality
Safety
When used for cabs ( better than Dzire )
Omni van - no safety but it still made a good van for school kids transport and intercity though not on the highways . Still used today ( though new not available)
Urban cruiser - though rebadged it got 4 adult , 3 child occupant rating whereas brezza got 4 adult but 2* child occupant rating
Zen -a fun car 😊
its not better than dzire at any cost
@@user-fy6ul1tf2zcap
It is better in every ways
Half the cab drivers of Bangalore would disagree with your reliability concern of Etios.
To talk about high spec cars i always wished to have a nissan gtr and i was kinda sad that even if i made it in life i can’t buy a gtr since it’s discontinued and now its all over the news nissan r36 gtr is on the wayyyyy
True
Man if I got a chance
I will one day own a R32 or a R34 v spec
your channel is the best man, love to watch ur videos while having food
Wish you a happy new year bro
4:11 your T-Shirt is just amazing 🤩
Diesel is always Diesel
Case Study Saturdays kicked in yooooo! 🤩🤩❤❤
Looking forward to these kind of videos in future !
RENAULT duster which was also known as the king of CSUV segment , offered AWD and 4x4 ( for limited time ) and had so reliability and safety that creta seltos can’t afford for further generations too
My father owns a '14 Duster 4wd and I totally agree
even though Hyryder has an AWD trim for 15 lakhs or something, its underpowered
u literally used to get a 4wd duster for 11 lakhs (ex-showroom) and it was not at all underpowered (pulls very hard lol)
it has been 8 yrs and no problems so far except suspensions being shit stiff (just 1 yr old Idk y)
and yea, a Suzuki swift rolled back and crashed into us... bumper came out, basically the whole rear end got pushed inside and never expected to be this weak but k
small scratch on the duster's front end
(same thing happened but with a hexa and lets not talk abt tht cuz its built like a tank😂)
You forgot the USP of the Duster, its suspension and the comfort
Yes duster is the most comfortable car in its segment till date, if they give a good facelift and add some interior features it can beat all 4.2m cars on sale
@@Ashish-_- is it acty tht comfortable? cuz my father's duster suspensions r so damn stiff
duster safe? like dude check the crash tests and think once more, it has stiffer steering, have you driven creta, it has very light steering compared to duster and you know what its more reliable. suspension is very bad and you won't believe in all of these, i know but check the sales.....hahhahahahahahhaha
As the fasbeamers believe in "a diesel is a diesel is a diesel is a diesel", we want a video on the future of diesel engines in India.... 🥺
bruh but the answer will not be pleasing as diesels are eventually going to be removed to save the environment
ps people in govt dosnt give a shit about replacing the old crappy buses which litrally smokes my face by its exhaust
I own a Honda BRV which got discontinued in 2020. Having it since 7 years and must say , one of the better MPV's out there but being a little on the pricier side attarcted only few. The design of the exterior is outstanding and looks much better than an Eartiga and close to Innova Crysta and not to mention the smooth 1.5 l iVTEC engine is just like a butter ride. It did not deserve to be discontinued 😞😞
True it was much better than ertiga
Same opinion. We have BR-V at home purchased in 2016, using till now without any issues.
Agreed Faisal. Well presented, Thanks for sharing. Wishing you and your team a Happy New Year 2023.Keep Rocking.
absolutely love these new style videos
3:37 urban cruizer was discontinued because it was based on old vitara brezza which was already discontinued when new brezza nothing to do with rebranding... they still sell new glanza and hyrider
Hey Faisal, your great fan this side. I want you to make a video like this on the cars you feel sad being discontinued & a video of your car n bike collection. Lots of love ❤
It's been 10 years since I bought Etios liva
What a car man doesn't needs much attention . Haven't even faced a single problem with car , just start the engine and you are ready to go
It's a budget hatchback
Returns a good mileage, spacious cabin , and a good reliable engine .
The first zen was just amazing to look and performance was also great❤
Your videos are stress relief medicine....in exam preparation.
Etios was the most preferred car by cab drivers.. A good cab car... Performance was also good.. Many cab driver family lived because etios...
Etios have high demand in 2nd hand market here in Kerala, I think it shouldn't be in this list. Its engine has Toyota level quality. Even Swift is behind Etios in resale value.
I would have to disagree with your remarks on Etios considering how it has such a loyal cult following in the taxi / tourism business in south India (don't know about its following in North). It was one of the most affordable cars having a proper sedan shape unlike the dzire, had great mileage, spacious interior and boot space, optimised safety, and was considered incredibly appealing in the pearl white colour for a budget sedan.
After the discontinuation of it in India, people in kerala started upselling the car upto 7 lakh considering how much demand it had in the taxi business.
Actually the Laura was a good car. Practical powerful, had tons of features that still many cars dont offer. Mileage was good too, and huge boot space
Etios is QDR man why don't u understand. We also have 10 year old etios with 80k km on odometer. It might feel cheap but it is comfortable, powerful and practical. What else a normal consumer need???
In 2012 with the hatchback segment flooded with cars like Swift, Micra, Punto, Fabia, Beat, Figo, Jazz, Polo. We decided to go with Etios Liva GD (blue color) based on reviews from Toyota owners( Reliability & Trust) never repented for the decision rear space was top in the segment then. In 2021 we decided to sell it due sensors issue becoz of rats and bought Kushaq.
I loved Micra, Punto, Fabia, Jazz and Polo
I still have the punto and it's as good as it was 12 years ago. The Polo and the Punto were the best amongst the lot. Yes Etios was cheap to maintain cause we had bought it as the transporting car for the company across India but the material used to make the interiors was terrible and I wouldn't ever look at a car of that quality for my personal use.
Happy new year guys!
I feel discontinuing Fiat Punto and Linea is also a good step as the cars were good but not fuel efficient and also kind of felt dated
Diesel linea and punto were fuel efficient bro
@@adarshbhavsar122 15 kmpl max
@@Hra.Na30 naa, on highways it gives 20+ kmpl easily. I have owned 2014 Punto Multijet, so I know it
I'm also happy that these 5 car are gone by the way HAPPY NEW YEAR BRO LOVE U ❤❤
Honestly etios were actually good...etios was better than dezire ...mainly its rear seat space and smooth and refined engine makes its way more comfortable than a desire...and ofc its boot too... maybe its not a toyota like but it was actually good
Happy New year Faisal bhai.
Etios and liva were amazing cars, they were under equipped but they were durable. I once booked a etios cab that had clocked 2.7L kilometers. I talked to the driver and he told me that it's the original engine and the only things that have been replaced are the clutch and timing belt.
0:31 we have had the exact same car since 2008. Still running fine and being a narrow car it's easy to manouver in heavy traffic and narrow lanes...
Forget EV cars
A diesel is a diesel is a diesel ❤️
Happy New Year to you Faisal....
And burned diesel is burned diesel in your lungs 😂
Honestly I like new glanza more than baleno as it offers a much more good interior theme
Front looks better too with just a change of grille
Make These Types of videos Faisal Bhai because we all it. These are short and so informative ❤️
I'm rather sad that etios went away, the large boot space was the best for airport cabs. I hope toyota brings etios in better shape with that same boot space
Happy New year to all❤️
When I was at my school stage I used to get confused a lot regarding the Skoda Laura and Octavia. Literally this is the moment I got clarity.
I have a hyundai eon. I remember the review you made. That was funny lmao😂♥️ loved it man😂😂👍
Which video, please tell
Still have my Liva diesel. Sad that they did not make a sequel. Was worthy of one. Wondering which car to pick the day I choose to sell it. Its got a great diesel TBH and a flat ride as well as best in class cabin space till date. Any suggestions?
All your saying about Etios is wrong, all Etios users are very happy. Although the features are less. People are upset about the discontinuation of Etios diesel.
I love this kind of videos of yours
Bought etios liva GD 2012 , still running strong at 1.26 lac kms , have a compass now even then rear seat space of Liva is unmatched . Really sad it got discontinued , i still feel it has the toyota reliability 😀
These were all the car that you were happy to be discontinued, but I am so sad that cars such as POLO, RAPID, SUPERB, INNOVA DIESEL AND CITY are Discontinued; these were the Favourite Cars of all the AUTOMOBILE ENTHUSIAST in India. Also many Sports/Super cars are going to be discontinued such as AUDI R8, AVENTADOR, CHARGER, TRACKHAWK, CHALLENGER, WRX STI AND THE LEGENDARY R35! Can't believe these legendary CARS are going to be no more in Production.
City???

Superb is still continuing
I was always indifferent to these cars, my first love of a car was ford ikon 1996 model i think i don't remember which year, but we went on a road trip it was amazing car. Next love was qualis. But small cars didn't appeal to me. I was just indifferent to it. But learned the word 'indifferent' very late in my life
please make these informative series
2:52 Selmon Bhoi's favorable business 😂😂😂😂
Loved it. Please make a video on the diesel cars which are going to be discontinued unfortunately in 2023.
I have 2013 vw polo petrol
Comfortline, black colour.
The drive legend.
Also had i20
Sold it and booked a slavia 1.5 dsg.
Perfect vlog 👍
Each and every car you mentioned in this list is just right. Even I was thinking 🤔 why these cars were launched if there are even better and original cars in the market
Show us your scaled model collection someday
My father owns a Liva. Although I haven't driven very many cars, I quite like it.
Wow at last it happened
Great video
@Faisal Khan, please make more short informative videos like this, thank you, It's worth investing the time.
I really liked the Yaris and even the Etios twins.
1:20 this line touched my heart 😂😊
I have a Etios Diesel 2012. It's running Fab . Economy of 20 Plus and engine is still buttery smooth ofcourse i take care of it and add synthetic oil and LM Mos2 ... I am planning to get it painted and maybe do up the interiors and keep it long as long as I am allowed to have it in Mumbai.. the Diesel engine is absolute legend ... If my budget permits maybe i will tune it ... Hopefully Will msg you Faisal to do a review with it .. coz diesel is a diesel is a diesel...
I have used a Van for whole my life had a wonderful time using it specially on ghats and outdoors
Totally agree with you.
Faisal, we still have the Urban Cruiser Hyryder and now we have the Taisor. It isn’t really discontinued
I have to say you have nailed it for keeping solmon bhai in your video
Good to hear that the dabba Maruthi eeco is finally getting discontinued 🙏🏻
I've got Urban Cruiser last year. Yes, I understand that batch engineering is not a good practice. But, the reason behind buying it was that Toyota provides better on road support and it offered 5 years of warranty on the vehicle which was lacking in the MS.
I really hated this man for the hate for Etios twins, but now I realise he is definitely right.. my father owned Etios and he passed away but we still kept his car for emotional reasons.. but that car is definitely sometimes a disaster, we own a Crysta aswell and we can feel the quality different ion of Toyota. Faisal you deserve an M5 as i said before 😂❤️. Keep going on man, we are always here in the war of ICE vs Electric. Happy new year brother 🎉
waiting for newyear vlog🤘
I liked it! Very funny!
well technically the Eeco didn't replace the Omni. The Omni i believe was a standalone maruti vehicle which doesn't really have a replacement or successor. The Eeco however was a successor of Maruti Versa which was sold from 2001-2009
Yess...
Eeco isn't a replacement of omni...
Omni was omni...
No one can beat omni in the van segment...
Etios and Liva 😢
Been using Estilo for almost 12 years, 95,000 kms...Never disappointed us 🙂❤
Zen Estilo is a really good car. It does look good and it is a small practical car. It is MUCH BETTER that the zen. My father used one for 10 years, 1 lakh km. The car is older than me. It was a 2007 model.
I have a 2007 zen estilo, except its looks everything is great considering it's price range
1: MS Estilo
2: Toyota Etios/Etios Liva
3: Skoda Laura
4: MS Omni
5: Toyota Urban Cruiser
We had a zen estilo in pink colour🥲🥲
I still drive my father's pink 2008 zen estilo. Very reliable car not a single breakdown till now.
I am unhappy when views don't come on Faisal's videos 💗
Nice video!
What about 5 cars you weren't happy got discontinued?
Please try to do these type of videos
If it comes back m gonna buy it without thinking it twice (liva)
After the etios got discontinued we got the yaris which was excellent but didnt sell in many numbers . So sad that the yaris got discontinued
I still own a Toyota etios liva and the comfort and smoothness is just amazing and it also doesn't need much maintenance although there are not so many features but still at that time it was a very practical and comfortable car and it saved my life twice one from 2 bulls that were fighting and they got hit in our car the car didn't even tilt to a side if it was wagonr then the car would be completely destroyed and second by a truck accident that hit us from behind literally this car is so amazing and i really can't understand how the hell you're happy that these car got discontinued.
Laura is not that much bad its really a stupendous enthusiast car it can be modified to our own taste stage 1 2 3 and on and on you can add whatever you want still i love laura and laura vrs
I agree with
I actually quite liked it
It’s a different car in a good way
Lauda
The OG Zen was a fun car to drive, even the diesel version was amazing interms of performance and milage. hope Maruti Suzuki brings it back.
I have none of these cars but gone with the like button as mentioned in the video…😁😉
Zen Estilo is a really good car. It does look good and it is a small practical car. It is MUCH BETTER that the zen
EECO was based on the Versa platform. Omni is unfortunately still doing rounds as school vans. I am surprised that parents still opt for omnis.
I'm happy that we are thinking on the same way
Wasnt happy for discontinuing the corrolla altis ❤️
The urban cruiser made lot of sense as the lower variants were better equipped than their suzuki counterpart.
Actually they only had higher variants equal to vxi, zxi and zxi+. Lxi equivalent wasn't available.
In Bangalore most of the Cabs are Etios.
Not sure why etios was in this list, agree cost cutting was there but the car was very reliable and the proof is the cars in ilx with at least a lakh kilometre in the odo still going for high prices. It was definitely a fuss free car with good safety rating
The engine of etios is actually imported from Japan that's why it had less features plastic interior
To make it cheaper
What about Hyundai Santro, which was launched in 2018 and made no sense at all (opinion of an owner of 2012 Santro Xing) I had alot of expectations with that car but Hyundai had literally break my heart
Bro.... Voks Bettle💯.... How can you do this!
