I found Ray’s discourse on caring for the poor, justice & peace in a biblical gospel context moving.
I found it disturbing, as the attributes he emulates are only what work in societies, and are not confined to teaching of Christianity. Every religion pretends they invented it! Here in belgium we pay far more per gallan for gasoline. 1 gallon is 3.78 litres. We pay here at the pump nearly 2 euro per litre. That makes it more than 6 euro or dollars per gallon. 1 euro is close enough to 1 dollar.

In Brussels we have a good functional and frequency of a subway network system. At every trainstation there are buses that are linking to other villages. In every big towns there are electric bikes and scooters too. We also have high speed trains (H S T) from Brussels link/ interconnect into the Netherlands,France and Germany and England railway systems. Great,innit..! No need to possess a private car. I recently hired a luxurious motorhome( 7.39 mtres) for touring a few days in forests of southern Belgium. In every major town taxis are everywhere..! All major transport systems are in walking distance. What more do you want..? Regards abdia.🙏
