I’ve never enjoyed a class as much as Demon Hunter! My main back in 2006 was a holy priest then I switched my main to a warlock for many years, but it was all over when I tried the demon hunter! So powerful, versatile, fun to play and fly around, and the survivability is insane. I actually am finally leveling a paladin and I’m enjoying the survivability of a retribution pally too! But the AOE on a havoc demon Hunter is unmatched thus far and that’s one of the main things I love! Killing a huge bunch of enemies all at once with powerful aoe attacks is SO satisfying
I agree, your guides are the best out there period. I am now in the throws of figuring out what to do with my 2 lvl 70 and 5 lvl 60's. My head is spinning...=)

Yup. I regret chancing professions so often on my main. Many recipes lost for ever. Now i stick to same rules as you do with making mains for all professions and never changing them again.
Paladin main since 2014, not changing anytime soon. I have so much individual non-account achievements on her that it's hard to switch. I also have 1 of each class at max level.

Your "alt army" videos are great, because I am a raging altoholic. Do I follow many of your tips? No. I'm not that organized, not even close. 😅 But YOUR organization makes me happy.
This video is accurate as heck. "Class main", "main main", "faction main"...better technical terms for my alt-army than "The beast", "smexy Jay", and "Rutabega", I must admit. 😂 The section on mog-farming was extra helpful; I seldom play my DH (though I also mostly do old content from before Legion anyway) but now I'll make sure he's closer to the top of the list for that.
Don’t sleep on your DH! They are amazing in pvp and pve!
Most of my alt army is still very young/underleveled but I do have faction mains and I assigned armour mains based on your previous alt army videos. My main main is my nightelf MM Hunter, only one at 70 still and my oldest character. Wish I had more time for leveling but little bits of progress are still progress.
Great guide as always! I'm in the process of levelling a priest simply because I've avoided the class! It's been a great new experience for me and I'm starting to think they might be one of my crafting mains once they hit 70
Very helpful - was feeling pretty scattered - and still am! - but not so much. I appreciate the breakdown into the various 'mains.' I was tripping over myself trying to overlap and this helped me open up to the notion of 'main's that aren't so 'main'y. Also note that the next expac will allow us to farm transmogs irrespective of armor class which will make armor type 'mains' a lot less important, at least with new content. But we'll still need them for older stuff. Great vids!
I've had a tauren resto shaman main since vanilla. That makes it easy to know who I want to raid on, earn achievements with, and all reps. I have a couple of primary alts, a bear druid and a mage. My ally alt is a paladin. This covers the armor types. I made a rogue solely to help my shaman with the Insane title. I want to eventually do class halls with every class, but I just haven't had the time. Everything else I roll languishes in mid-level purgatory.

I have so many alts that decision fatigue hits often; I recently made a vulpera warrior with the intention of leveling him through questing only, no dungeons or BoAs of any kind. It's been a BLAST. Warriors are pretty tanky, so I can accidentally facepull three mobs and still be okay (he's in his 30s still), but I do have to be a little careful! Leveling that way feels very immersive and more exciting for sure, and has greatly helped with the decision fatigue. Do I feel like leveling something instead of playing a 70? If yes...the new warrior is all I want to play. I'm honestly gonna ditch BoAs on my other lowbie alts - thank you, Blizzard, for the "gear update" thing, that's actually great - and see how they feel too. If you like questing, perhaps try that and see if it's more fun than tearing through mobs like they're wet tissue paper :)
I probably should work on a warrior (or hunter and DH) to get more of the weapon mogs, like you mention in the guide. I just don't enjoy the (lack of) fantasy of a warrior, in particular. I enjoy playing characters powered by magic and building their backstories in my head. Just my personal preference.
Weirdly delighted to see that my "main" system matches yours XD Of course I took a long break after MOP so many of my alts are freshly-made/leveled. I'm having fun getting loremaster and working on old professions on my class/prof mains currently - that should keep me PLENTY busy until I have to find something else to work on!

I don't do as much transmog farming as I intend (random acts of it!), but do have characters specific for that. I do say my one hunter is my 'main', but for some stuff the Pally does it!
I keep them organized by one of each max level, crafters prioritized over other max levels, and if it's account bound currency, etc., the best farmers do it!
I'm impressed at all your 70s, I have a plethora of 60s and 15ish at 70 - I'm not loving DF right now, alot to do, but a tad repetitive it seems, IDK. I've been playing limbo in HC - only instead of how low, how long can you last.

Excellent vid!! I wish Blizz would add content to the game that makes me want to play my alts more. Ive always been an advocate for having one join your current main, The tech was used in WAD. Would be awesome.
one thing i do, is have one of every class on one faction, then have one main on the other faction in case i need to do content that's on either or side, then i have one of every race for things like heritage armor mogs or mount questlines, after that, the rest are just farming alts, not mains, i for one like DKs as a main because of the fast dps on storyline questing

I find myself forced to do some duplicative work due to a choice I made before all the cross faction features recently introduced and the expansion of the realm character limit. I intentionally set my Horde and Alliance toons on separate realms. Bladefist/KulTiras for Horde and Greymane/Tanaris for Alliance. I can only mail Bind to Account items between them. So I have 2 personal guilds to manage. I am unwilling to spent the money on so many realm transfers, nor can I bear to delete a character. On each realm my Main is a DK (BElf and Gnome), but my first toon was a NElf MM Hunter. Unlocked DK's during WotLK by leveling a Dwarf Pally.
Right there with you - my Ally and Horde alts are all on separate realms as well. The thought of paying to move them... arrgh - no way! The price for 'early' adopter I suppose.
i try to build up one of each armor type to max level for transmog collecting. I usually hit the Paladin, Druid, Hunter, and Warlock. I was excited for the dragon people, but I just didn't enjoy them like I hoped I would. I have a Druid and a second toon on like 7 other servers to shop Auction Houses.

that being said, i think you have to be a little insane to complete/collect in WoW, i mean there is even a title called "The Insane" in game, even Blizz questions our sanity lol
in any case, my true main is a Paladin, they can use almost as many weapons as a Warrior can, and my first character ever was a Pally, so that will always be my true main.
aside from my true main, i have a character of every Class AND Spec as well as Race, so my roster is about as diverse as it can be, with some moderate bias.
Absolutely love all of your content!!! I have a question about transmog collecting: do you re-farm mog when you expand to new Battlenet accounts?
If you decide to get a new bnet account yes, you will have to refarm EVERYTHING. Only wow accounts under the same bnet will share collections. I don't have a second bnet because of this.

I had it in my head that your alt army had grown to the point of requiring another bnet account, so I was mostly wondering if you put yourself through the effort of re-collecting everything that you could (which sounds like a daunting undertaking...or as I like to call it "a nightmare"). You mean, they were hard to play while Garrosh and Sylvanas were the Warchief(s)? My Horde alts suffered quite a bit during those dark years. One of my favorites was my forsaken priestess, who leveled in shadow spec without using shadowform because in life she'd been a dedicated herbalist and healer, and could hardly bear to see how undeath had twisted her magic. She recently hit 70 and isn't looking forward to the next Sylvanas redemption fiasco 😅
@@evage99 My issue was more that the story I RP'd with my bestie drifted away from those characters so the bodies of my alts were changed so that our main focus RP characters could be together. But I've since not had the time to RP so maybe I should bring some of those old horde characters back. Something for me to stew over ;)
Please tell me you're organized enough that "main main", "armor main", "class main", "profession main" and "alt" are the names of character ranks in your personal guild.
I have a question regarding Armor/Weapon mains. I notice on quests different classes are rewarded different weapons for sometimes the same quests. It still seems like the Warrior gets them all unlocked however im not sure when it comes to guns and bows? Do Warriors get the transmog for them from quest rewards?

That's all hunter stuff from DF except for the boots (phoenix shop set) and belt (Zerith Mortis gear).

Kinda the same for me. But i tend to play all of my alts the same amount. But i mainly play horde. With my shaman being my main. As enhancement. Feels nice. I have autoattacks, so no stoping when i attack: i have an instant heal when i get my stacks. Feral spirits, doom winds, whille also having the Earth elemental. Bloodlust. And also astral Shift when i start taking to much damage to take less damage. Whille also having ghost wolf so i can move fast all the time in areas where you cant mount up. I used main elemental. But that made everything very hard. When you need to CAST your spells. But also needing to CAST your healing. And when you used up all your mana.. The enemies will keep beating you.. No mana to attack or heal. Whille being stuck in place. No damage done, no healing done. Which sucked. But other than that i have double alts on my horde side. So 2 shamans, 2 hunters, 1 evoker, 2 warriors, 2 dk, 2 paladins. And so on and so on. It is very nice right now with the Dream Surges. Since you get your weekly 415 ilv piece. And if you want the full normal and heroic set mog.. Well. Its not going to take 9 weeks. But 4 weeks..... 5. But that is for that 1 item. Still a pitty these items are only unlocked for that specific class. Not for anyone that can use mail. At least the belt, wrists, boots and cape.
Enhance shaman definitely feels like a beast compared to elemental; I do try to play every spec a bit (why not, with so many alts) but my enhace shaman orc is the main reason I play Horde at all, haha.
@@evage99 It basicly has everything. You have a great way to heal. 5 maelstrom stacks. Instant cast heal. That heals for a fair bit. All whille you are still attacking. You dont have to worry about moving and losing dps. You can quickly move from one enemy to another in diferent locations just jumping into ghost wolf and bam you are there. And most of all. No push back or whatever its called when it comes to casting spells. Making spells take longer to be cast.
How do you find time to do all that... I started playing DF in july, I got 7 characters to lvl 70 and only 2 to 440+ so I can do endgame content. I dont have any professions on them, no pvp gear, no reputations farmed, nothing really. I cant imagine how much time does it take to level MULTIPLE of one class, In 3+ months I managed to get only 7/13 classes
I've been playing since 2013, so that helps!
@@KrakenLatte Yea probably, but you still have to level up and do all the catchup content not only every expansion but every .1 .2 .3 patch and so on, unless you use them only for legacy content
My alts are only for legacy content. My mains are the only ones who do current and even then, I'm only a collector. I retired from competitive play in BFA. ^^ @@Moozerty
If her video content is her job, I don't think "finding time" is an issue :) The problem may be finding time for other things!
I think it's all relative - I only JUST this last month hit 70 with ONE of my toons - getting 7 to 70 is gonna take me months if not a year or two. I'd ask YOU how you find time to do all that!!
