Tesla has had a plant in Berlin (Germany) for some time now. This is particularly notable for its poor working conditions (below-average pay, above-average number of accidents at work), environmental violations (fires, fuel and paint leaks, etc.). And the comparability is given, Germany has a whole lot of car plants. Elon Musk is a good salesman, but a morally questionable person who doesn't give a shit about the people who work for him. His ideas come from others, he just sells them (which is certainly a remarkable skill). Over time, and especially today, his primary motivation is his self-promotion and his enormous wealth.
Think what you will, but Musk is not a man of the little people. Musk belongs to a super-rich upper class who have more power with their wealth than many democratically elected people in the world.
