I think they said somewhere that Trump and Biden agreed to no fact checks during the debate. If so, big mistake by Biden’s team.
Some of Biden's Lies and the real reason they didn’t fact check in real time:
**Claim:** "No soldiers died under my watch."
**Reality:** Ironically, he checked his watch repeatedly at the memorial, a gesture many found disrespectful.
**Claim:** "I am endorsed by Border Patrol."
**Reality:** That night, Border Patrol's official social media clarified they have never and will never endorse Biden.
**Claim:** "Trump wants to get rid of Social Security and Medicare."
**Reality:** Trump has consistently stated his intent to protect these programs.
**Claim:** "The unemployment rate rose to 15% under Trump; it was terrible."
**Reality:** The unemployment rate was 6.4% when Trump left office. It spiked to 14.8% in April 2020 due to the global pandemic but quickly declined.
**Claim:** "We have a thousand millionaires in America, I mean billionaires. And they pay 8.2% in taxes."
**Reality:** The top 1% of taxpayers paid an average tax rate of nearly 26% in 2020, while the top 0.001% paid 23.7%, according to IRS data.

Trump lied about calling veterans suckers and losers, which was a story Tapper reported with John Kelly, Trump’s Chief of Staff, on the record, and all Tapper said during the debate was, “Thank you President Trump”.
Biden should have been more effective fact checking him. Trump would never agree with a video overlay spelling out all his lies in realtime. (Although I think that should be mandatory on all public videos)
