- Today we will archive the best horror game I have played this year. It might not be the scariest, but I was hooked from beginning to end. The game takes inspiration from Do You Copy? which we also recently archived and with having played the latest Fears to Fathom game, I was ready for more radio horror.
Originally this was a gamejam title and an early version was available a couple of years ago. I watched some CZcams videos of it back then and though it was entertaining, it did not impress me too much. I felt it was a bit too restrictive in being set in a single room with not that much happening.
And that is EXACTLY what they fixed in this full version. We play as radio DJ Forrest Nash as we begin our night shift of entertaining the locals and spinning records. It does not take long before we learn the the local police forces are gone and it is up to us to help the inhabitants to stay away from harm.
As the night progress new rooms and areas become available inside the radio station and its such a blast to explore these as they are full of detail and just ooze atmosphere. Every time I got to explore the new areas I had the biggest smile on my face.
The voice acting is stellar too and the twists and turns are great! It even gets into feeling like a detective story at some point. If you enjoy story driven games or adventure games, you owe it to yourself to check this one out. Its a shame that others might think of it as restrictive at first like I did, but if you are willing to take the plunge then you will not be disappointed. Now let's hope they will make a Killer Frequency 2 someday, because the game kept me wanting for more!

Love the story and voice acting in this game. And being a bit of a radio junkie, I appreciate how authentic the radio hosting experience while mixing it with the 911 operator experience.
This had a really good story. Hopefully it gets a sequel.

How are you supposed to know Marie was at the school gymnasium?
Marie mentions George making a winning throw BEFORE he joined the football team, so the location could not be the roller rink or the football field.
@@Centrist01 That's kinda dumb. Maybe he was playing a match with his friend on the field or something. I chose the football field the first time because in my mind football is played on the field not in the gymnasium.
