It was one of The Academy biggest mistakes not giving The Oscar for The Best Makeup and Hair for The Batman: we can not see Colin Farrell under that whole makeup. It is a complete new man. Problably is the best makeup I have ever saw at a movie. Spectacular.
That plus Cinematography. Its a crime that it wasnt even nominated.

Say what you want about the editing, writing and direction but the way the movie looks can't be ignored.
They probably didn’t even know it was Colin wearing makeup. Just thought it was some random actor

I have to admire the level of detail that goes into making these movies. The Batman especially is just so well crafted 🦇.

Beautiful dressing yet it’s the worse Batman I have seen.. very cold and you feel detached from the screen..
Kinda makes sense due to his fear of losing people +Depression and trauma
It's a Batman year two he's still young and learning
If I'm being honest I felt way more detached from the majority of the Nolan movies. I actually felt way more actual warmth and emotional earnestness from Reeves' version than I did for most of Nolan's iteration. I like them but they're very.....cold and a little *TOO* plot-focused to the point of feeling robotic.
