They will probably never know this, but they saved my life! I had an emergency transplant in 2018, and my dad knew this was my favorite band I was in a coma for 3 weeks, he played them for me every day even my physical therapist when I had to learn to walk again, saw my avenged tattoo and was like hell yeah and played them for me for motivation! I loved them before but now them and their music truly saved and changed my life foREVer!! I’m so grateful! 🖤🤘🏻

I've wanted to see them live my whole life just about. I discovered them early on, bought their music, downloaded it, played it, loved it. Just never had a chance to see them live. Getting older now, and it's not looking good for a live experience. :(

Till this day, A7X is the best band I’ve ever heard live. My first time seeing them was 2006 when they were opening for Coheed and Cambria. I can’t remember the tour but it was in Atlanta. Something happened and Coheed and to go on first. You could tell Claudio was pissed about it lol I’m glad A7X ended up headlining. They were amazing. I’m a drummer and seeing The Rev play everything to absolute perfection blew my mind.
Playing everything to perfection AND singing at the same time, with an oddly placed mic haha. Remember Critical Acclaim from LBC 2008?

One thing that keeps me alive is the fact that I haven't seen them live yet. Great band. Their music has got me through lots of sht in life.
Probably doesn't help you but by 2010 I saw them live 16 times. They have always put on amazing shows and still continue to this day.

Saw them once in 2010, they were brilliant. Me and Syn saluted each other at one point lol. I could have seen Jimmy's last show at Sonisphere 2009 but I can't remember why we didn't go, gutted I missed out on that. I seriously need to make up for lost time and see them a bunch when they tour again. Absolutely awesome.
Man, So Far Away crushes me every time I hear it, just like it did the very first time. Anyone who has ever lost someone close to them will vouch for the fact that this song nails the feeling perfectly.

God I love this band. No matter the struggle they go through, they find ways to improve their sound. 2018 was a rough year for Matt, but he pulled through, and he's back to killing it again.

Great live band . I’m a drummer and got into them when they first started the revs playing blew me away and the entire bands dedication and notes . Just a great live band glad you guys are still kicking ass. Can’t wait to see you again in Philadelphia.

I just listened to this video with some Bose headphones. Omg I can hear every single accent on the drum every bass riff sounds immaculate. Everything is so crisp. This makes me appreciate Matt's voice even more. U can hear the maturity. I mean I've seen lots of concerts posted on CZcams. Always thought the hellfest 2014 was his best vocals of all time. But I can appreciate this range he has. I'm so excited for their new album. Zacky sounds like he can be a front man to a ska band haha thanks for sharing !

If there was ever a drummer to fill the role, they’ve found him. At the same same time I think the passion needs some work. I saw them live a couple years ago and they were dead on and looked like they were having fun. Johnny and Zack are the backbone and look bored and upset here. Same with Gates. My favorite guitar duo hero’s and they just seem off.
Yeah brooks is an amazing drummer but without the rev's hyper positive attitude it still feels empty.

And honestly under the circumstances it sounds fine. 2020 is the break no one wanted, but it's gotta do wonders for the band. Plenty of time at home, time to write, and so much new content from their peers that they are in a position to write another incredible album.

I am an older fan...57 years old (my daughter got me hooked in 2006). I got to see them when they came to my hometown in 2007. I have always considered myself very fortunate that I got to see The Rev doing what he did best. This is the first time I've watched a more recent concert and I have to say that Brooks is SERIOUSLY GOOD!! I'm glad they were able to find someone who is a good fit for them. Looking forward to many more years of their incredible music! 🤘

He’s able to speak again after resting his voice for 6 months to avoid having to have another operation on his vocal chords, he had it the 1st time a bit before they recorded city of evil which is why his singing sounds a little different on there but he said himself that was his best album for vocals. Anyways there currently doing early writing process for their next album so basically we are getting a album in 2020 which would make sense cause they release a album ever 3-4 years and the stage came out in 2016
