One of the best Argosys I've seen. They made everything to build excellent coe with comfortable entering and flat floor. Why they have stopped make em... So sad. Greetings from Russia

Near perfection. I ran a small bunk Argosy for about 4 months back in '05
Nice truck 10speed c13 cat. The 8 pack Cantrell car hauler I'm not a fan of. But I wish I had that cab today on the frame of my '16 Cascadia. It would be a 200" wb sweet ride.

Never understood why american cabovers have the front axel so far forward, and the steps behind the door? That's so unpractical..

Have you ever climbed up into an american cab over with the steps ahead of the front axle? Its not as handy as one might think. I know, I have one.

They were originally designed to be as short as possible, so the cab was just the length of the front wheels, with no extra cab length ahead of the wheels. The resulting awkward door location was continued when longer "sleeper" cabs became available. Even with the sleepers, moving the front axle back in COE trucks built to minimize overall length with typical US trailers could reduce the wheelbase enough to be a concern. Euro trailers seem to have the king pin further back, so the tractor has the fifth wheel further back for more cab-to-axle distance and wheelbase.
