    We have missed the StoneHouse humor. Let's get back to daily videos now. Or weekly. Or semi-weekly. Just not every few months. You can always make vids on kid activities. 👍👍👍

    The pressure guages will show the pressure drop across the filters that indicate how clogged the filters are and help to determine when the filters need changed.

    Place a 1x4 board on top of the bottom rails of the cage before taking off the filters in the future. It will help prevent the filters from falling all the way to the basement floor.

    I would incorporate a 3 valve bypass for the filter system.
    If something happens such as a bad leak that way you can bypass the system and repair it at your leisure.

  • @randywright8575
    @randywright8575 Před 6 měsíci +2

    You need the pressure gauges to measure the differential pressure across each filter. A high differential pressure indicates when a filter is getting plugged up.

  • @DaveLekner

    I have a similar system at my house, but only one filter, and let me tell you right now at spring time I have a lot coming from my natural weld. If I can give you a little tip, put a piece of tape on the first container and wrote the date you change your filter, On my system they sugest me to change it every 3 months, but could NEVER remember when I did it ;) ;) ;) Now with the date on it, much easier for me to remember ;) ;) If I was you, I would go and check all your foset of your house to check if you don't have any piece of what you found in your water, you have a little screen at the end of the foset, could be ineresting if you have it clean. Thank for the video, always enjoy them.

    I have multiple wells on my property. Before I moved back here, I'd been very anemic with my first pregnancy ... but after drinking the well water for 18 months, my iron levels were great with my second child. Unfortunately, that well also had a lot of sulfur and red clay .... The best thing I ever did was filter it. Now that I am using one of the other wells, I no longer have sulfur ... but I do filter for sand - - Whole house filter systems are GREAT!!

    Hi there, great you're back.
    The pressure gauge 5:50 is there for you to see if one of the filters is full and wich one is full.
    Edit: 11:00 the stuff in the particle filter is not the problem. You probably will never get that in your glas of water because your taps have filters as well. This is only to safe your system from this debris. Your dishwasher, your washing machine etc
    The stuff you *don't* see is the stuff that makes you sick. Like what the other both filters beware you of.
    Greetings from Germany, the tap water country 😂

    Just think if you had mounted that unit near the floor, you could read the gauges and dropping the filter wouldn't be such a worry. BTW, a variance in those gauges COULD point out that a filter might need changed (if the pressure is abnormal compared to the others.

      Jumping in here with my well/whole house filter experience. We run a separate in house faucet for drinking well water and the rest of the house gets softened water. Having the whole house filter directly off the pressure tank filters all water coming into the house.
