It's fun to look through these old catalogs and see older dolls, what could have been, and what's changed, like how Ultra Hair was renamed Totally Hair and Magic House became Fold'n Fun House. Odd that Christie, Steven, and Teresa are missing from the Glitter Beach lineup but Marina/Kira is there, I guess they weren't done diversifying yet.
I wish I could get my hands on more of these Toy Fair catalogs!

That is a really awesome Barbie Catalog:)!! I really liked the Vintage Silk and Flame Porcelain Barbie because that Jacklyn Kennedy 1960s look is very beautiful:)!! However, I also liked the Barbie and Skipper horses as much as ALL the Barbie and Skipper dresses, gowns, and other outfits:)!! I liked Skippers blue pants outfit in the Hollywood Cafe setting:). However, I did not like the risque Victoria Secret look on some of the lingerie because it is too much. In my opinion the best outfit for Ken was A7786 because he looked very handsome in that outfit:)!! I do not like it when they make Ken wear clothes that could be feminine. I also really liked the horse and carriage as much as the Jaguar Car:). I like the old fashion Tub with the shower. I liked the Sea Holiday Cruse Ship as well. I was wondering, did the Barbie Washing Machine actually work like the Suzie Homemaker Washing Machine actually did wash doll clothing?I thougt the Ribbons and Roses was the most beautiful of all the Barbie Beds:)!! I also LOVE the Charm bracelet:)!! It is so awesome that the Barbies were sold with Charms. Thank you for sharing this very detailed and beautiful Mattel Barbie Catalog:)!! I am looking forward to Part 2 from the Mattel Toys:)!!
My favorite was the cruise ship. I love that it was a blender and glasses.
