I begun to study somali langueage, and I got a book for it. The book starts in teaching somali grammar, which has pretty much confused me so far. I know words like waan, miyaan, waad, miyaad, ect. but I don't have a exact clue where they are used. Your videos have given me the inspiration to continue learning. Thanks!
your doing a great job with the videos im waiting for the next ones umm i think i need to go back im not sure if you said when to use kay/hay. great job though
Thank you for posting these lessons. I am a teacher who is working with somalia students in the classroom and would love to learn some simple words to use to bridge the language barrier. Ideas for this lesson could include: Please read this, Write your answer here, What do you think?, Do you have any questions, Raise your hand, Look, Please sit down, Do you understand?, etc.
hi, I assumed you want to speak with many students and not just one, so these sentences are in plural form 1. What do you think: Maxay idinla tahay? 2. Do you have any questions?: Wax su'aalo ah maa qabtiin or wax su'aalo ah maa jiro? 3. raise your hand: Gacanta taag 4. Please sit down: fadlan fadhiiso or (only Fadhiiso) 5. Do you understand?: ma fahanteen I hope I helped you. for any more questions please contact me squad.abubakar94@gmail.com
