    Home use for sure, would start with something like coleslaw to knock through cabbage, carrots, red onions, pickles, and herbs. Lots of textures and densities on the cutting board, but nothing this knife couldn't handle!

    Hi Adam. You carry so many beautiful lines now, I think I will need to add another room to the house for them all. 😉. I would be using this knife at home for dinner prep. Given it’s bbq season, it would likely be for some kind of smoker based meal - pulled pork sandwiches and homemade slaw first comes to mind. I hope you are all having as great a summer as we are here, although it it passing all too quickly. Will stop in again on our next trip out east.

    100% for home use only. I wouldn’t dare bring such a beautiful knife at my workplace, it might get stolen and get abused. I think the first thing i’d prepare with that knife would be some dense ingredients, like carrots and potatoes. Thanks for the opportunity to win such a beautiful knife!

    Hey Adam! I definitely would use this at work. My 11yr old Whustoff is on her last rodeo, ready for retirement id say! First thing I’d cut would be some mirepoix. Nothing beats the smell of mirepoix sweating away

    If I was lucky enough to win the giveaway knife it would probably get used at home first to break down some beef and potatoes for a slow cook. Then it might make its way into work to just run through the daily prep, give it a good workout and make the boys on the line jealous.

    Just a home chef here. The first thing it would be used on would probably be onion and bell pepper. Those go in so much of my cooking.

    What a beauty! I stay in a student accommodation with a couple of housemates , none of which can cook lol so I've become the de facto house dad/cook (using in a home setting). I'd use the gyuto to cut up all kinds of stir-fry veggies that are good for gauging performance like garlic, ginger, shallots, scallions, etc. Maybe some carrots and marrows too, followed by honing the wok skills.

    Definitely use it for work, the design of the knife is just beautiful. Since im doing Niku Bar ( Japanese Meat Bar ) where as customer see my set up, this particular beuty Definitely need to be out to show to customers, and i dont have a gyuto on my collection 😉😁

    Since I am humble homecook, I will be using it at home. Onion and carrots are the first thing I use a new knife on, just to test the waters. Maybe cutting a steak for some crazy patina it would be a nice idea as well.

    I Don't use a Chef knives at work so this will be a home dedicated kitchen knives. It would be great user on general but first thing comes to mind is to cut a juicy slices of papaya with it.

    I will use it at home and cook up a storm. First thing to cut test is bread. Sounds simple but bread is the most difficult to get a clean cut if the blade is not up to task.

    Such a beautiful knife might catch too much attention in a professional kitchen, so i’d rather keep it at home.
