Years ago their was a School district Superintendent from my neck of the woods who literally pilfered the School district out of millions of dollars, He was so brazen with his actions that he actually had a relative on the schools payroll that was a high school dropout who was employed as a English class resource aid pulling down 96,000 $ dollars a year, Big scandel erupted, He was charged with all kinds of crimes and sacked by the District, Years later I remember picking up a newspaper and their was an article about how he surfaced in Baltimore with a high paying job with in the Baltimore Schools !

They broke my friends window when she said no, she got out and they ran her over with a dirt bike. She had her mother and son in the car on the way to the doctor. It was in the news last week. It’s illegal what they are doing, it needs to stop.

The one at 1:24 is a thug!! I know this for a fact as I got off the train there at the North Ave. Light Rail station and walked west on North Ave he started yelling "Aye!! Tony Montana, you smoke da cheeba!?" As I ignored him and kept walking he continued yelling it and started following me across the street as I was trying to get away from a confrontation. Well he yelled to his boys to come over and they circled me and all started throwing punches then tried going through my pockets, till I grabbed that one being interviewed by his bush and smacked him with my phone square in his nose!! It started gushing blood and then he started crying, so all 5 of em stopped assaulting me and stood there with a look of shock on their faces. Yeah I remember him and I know he'll remember me!!
Morale of the story is that this happened probably a month after this interview therefore their (well his for sure) claims of innocence is bull$hit. And it wasn't a one time thing either btw, they used to harass me everytime I walked through that (Mt Royal Ave@North Ave) intersection, so they're definitely not innocent.

We always take longer routes trying to dodge these children. They can he a big threat to people driving through down town. Sometimes they do the washing even if you dont want them to do so. If you dont pay,anything can happen.
Big issue is if they get git by a car it'll still be the drivers fault even tho they were doing something illegal

Even landscaping employees are coming back after their jobs to rob the people's houses of the yards they mowed. Fence your yard for your dog and hire 1 legit person to mow. I used to travel across the US and these kids can be rough. You NEVER trust someone first then learn if they can be trusted LATER. Never let someone you don't know into your life. That's bs. This kid at the end of the video talking about karma seems like one of the rare exceptions, because most of the squeegee men are bums. No kid ever says "I wanna grow up to be a window cleaner." This entire culture is in decline and the hoppers using window washing under a guise of an honest kid making money, all evidence to the contrary. It's more like strong arming drivers for a few bucks to leave them alone. They'll come to the window, start washing it even before the Driver agrees, and then threaten them with violence or damaging their property when they don't pay. And since a lot of the parents of the kids don't care, there's nothing stopping this EXCEPT governmental policies that make it a priority to protect the citizens instead of the criminals. (I'm not saying they're all criminals but every person I know from Baltimore says they try and stay away from the squeegee kids because it's nothing but trouble.)
There needs to be a task force that goes around and throws their little asses in jail for a day until it stops. It won't take long for word to get out that it's not going to be tolerated. We're talking about 2 weeks to a month of patrolling for the word to get out that this intimidation by young hoppers will not be tolerated. But we're talking about the government here, so just to start to address the problem will take a year before anyone even starts to TALK about doing something. The news articles have to keep on coming to pressure the government to fix this out of control bullshit. Baltimore used to be a better place. It hasn't been good for a long time but I won't go back there now.

I have had some positive interactions with the kids, but I understand how annoying and frightening the experience can be for some drivers. I hope a better opportunity appears for the young man. He has a good character to work with.

Why are we not teaching these kids that education is their way out why are we not giving these kids the education that they need why are we not telling them the way out of poverty is education showing them a better way to make a living? Couple years ago kid ran up and grabbed my wiper and I waved him off. Then I summoned his pal and asked him do my rear window. Gave him $1 and told him to tell his buddy if he had asked first he might have won the job. Normally I wouldn't accept this "service" but I saw this as a teachable moment.

What you are dealing with in Baltimore is a city government and citizenry that seems to have a general lack of ability to comprehend some things that are critical to getting the city on a better path and making it a place where people want to live and visit and where businesses want to set up shop. Maybe Putin could invade Baltimore and free the citizens from decades of mismanagement.
