This dance understands hope as foundational to structuring our relationship to this world. When we are locked into cycles of despair, hope is key to knowing there are other possibilities. Hope is far from naive optimism but is the painful realization that the present is not enough for us and that the future can be different. This piece is then a battle to sustain
hope.
