    There is something really disturbing of our current time: One of the best musicians of all times like George Enescu would be undoubtedly rejected in any audition or competition of today. Instead we get these Chang, Chen, Ling...etc....It saddens me....

    Two masters, although Enesco is a bit low pitched and Oistrakh a bit high pitched. But that didn't disturb me.

      @@monellerichmond7208 If I remember correctly it was recorded in 1949, published in 1950 in commemoration of the 200 anniv. of Bach's death (of 1750). Idk why the listed date is 1940.
