Exploring Malia On A EMTB!

What was meant to be a day riding Crete single track, unfortunately, the Malia MTB hub owner didn't want to take me in the mountains for the day.
and strongly advised me not to go up on my own to ride the trails.
as would have been dangerous 😳
so I just rented the e-bike and found a sensible route ...[ it did say Gravel Ride] on Komoot
Anyway, the route took me off the main road up the mountain pass to the village of Moxos .. Coffee stop in an amazing Greek village.
where I then got a flat..as the tyre had 8 plugs in it.
then onto Lassithi Plateau where I stopped off for some lunch of a very generous Greek salad and some amazing home-cooked chips.
then made my way back down to Malia Old Town with about 15 psi in my rear tyre.
that was fun going down the mountain passes!
