I checked the Walmart site. There is another pet fountain for $10. The one I like was grass green and the water comes up through the middle and drains at the sides. It's the same as the ones you keep making. I have a large plastic bird bath the birds won't use. I think I will get that fountain and put it in the center of the bird bath.
I saw an ad for a cat water bowl and thought “bird bath” it was in stainless steel. It seems like Flowing Water delights, revives and satisfies us All❣️
If they ever come back in stock, I'll definitely try this out. I have multiple solar fountains and one I've got plugged in, but this would be awesome and easy to have and great since you can tuck them in any little spot you want. Thanks as always for the great info Robbie!

I recently subscribed couple weeks ago. Saw this video bought two fountains and already have a little baby hummingbird taking a bath.
I just ordered two 🤞🏻they do t run out of stock. I like the waterfall part of this one. So far the hummingbirds have ignored the other two fountains, but perhaps they need time. Other birds have used the first one I put out. ❤️ I gave my sis a couple too. She put one out for the lizards and the other for the birds.

Oh how wonderful, for all the wildlife. Sometimes it can’t take time for the hummingbirds, especially if they’re bathing somewhere else. But if you’ve got other birds using it, the hummingbirds should be using it soon, maybe you don’t see them using it and they’re using it when you’re not watching.❤️ Thanks

You might have to change filter because it will clog up and water won’t run. Also keep metal filter cleaned. You just spray it with hose.
You can get other models where you simply do not use the filters at all, this one is a little different

I love this but I just went looking for them and I found a different brand at Target. When I checked reviews people said that mold grew in the unit quickly and their cats got infections from drinking from it. I have no experience, just passing on what i read. I guess if you are going to buy one, check the reviews.

Love your fountains Robbie. I have the last 2 you purchased. No hummingbirds have came to it yet. Been about 2 weeks now since I had them. I’m am moving them around. I had them under my feeders. Do I need to have them higher up for them to see them

I love watching your videos, the Hummers look as if they really enjoy your fountains! I made one this summer with a bowl, terracotta pot upside down with a straw coming out of the hole of the bottom of the pot, put small rocks around it and have a solar panel to keep it running. I have not seen one hummingbird in it and I have it about 2 feet from their feeder 😥. What do I need to do Robbie??

I looked on Walmart's site - and did not see the Lulumiao brand. Ebay has this fountain, but at $19.99 each.

How long have you waited with your trash bucket fountain? I have one that took a little while (they have a regular bird bath, a pool spillway waterfall and a large three tier fountain), but now they prefer this one which is in a 12 inch metal planter similar to a trash can. I have been surprised this year to also have regular use by honey bees. I only have a couple of hummers, so I don't see them using anything but the nectar feeders. I think it also has to do with where you live since I am in Atlanta where we have regular rains. I set up the first pet fountain she showed right next to the trash can type fountain, and only one or two birds have even landed on it just waiting for the other fountain. I have bluebirds, cat birds, finches, Robin's, Carolina wrens, Goldfinch, etc. I would love to have more hummingbirds, but even though I keep up 7 nectar feeders and have tons of nectar flowers in my yard, so far just one female and one male since March.
That particular model, sold out right away. I only bought one of those thinking they weren’t using it, but found out they are. Hold tight, because they have another style coming this week I’m going to try, that’s very different than these and it sells for about $18. But any of them will work I like the ones that have the middle spout and they do run about $20 unless you can catch them on sale; try some flowers around yours.
@@WalkingbytheSpiritAlways Weeks, which became months! I am going to try it in a different location soon. Neighbors finally removed two "park" size trees from their yard, which finally puts sun into my yard for the first time in decades. That will enable to solar unit to do its job properly, too.
My yard gets much of the same birds, Lesser Goldfinches, wrens, sparrows, finches, but no robins. I also get bushtits, doves, crows, and California natives. I'm in Southern California, but a different area from Robbie and Gary, though.
There was a property that got torn down next to a Nursery. (Armstrong's) The nursery had planted mandevilla all along their parking lot on a fence which abutted that property. Well, it all came out and temporarily, I had hundreds of hummingbirds. I used one quart a day per feeder. That's never happened again, though. I have 3 families that raise clutches here, from what I can tell. ALL birds are such fun to watch and very relaxing.
BTW, I hope I don't have typos here - I am about to have eye surgery for an emergency...so my vision is less than perfect. Thanks!

HELP! What power bank did you use. The ones I ordered only lasted about 3 hours. All 4 came from Canada so returning them is unrealistic. I have birdbaths that I want to make fountains in. Any small power bank you use to charge a phone 😊
If you have an outlet nearby, you can buy an outdoor power strip that has both “prong” outlets and usb ports and plug everything in. If your wall outlet is far away, an extension cord can make up the difference. You can also use a “brick” like what you use to plug your cell phone into the wall, but you’d have make sure the USB ports of the fountain and your brick match each other and worry about keeping that protected from water.

This is so interesting and an ideal way to get started with fountains for the birds. I have been searching for this exact item at Walmart, Amazon, and general Google search with no success. How/where can I purchase one?
New to this but love and want it. Where do you put the ppwer bank to protect it from weather? How often do you have to take it apart and clean it? I have bowls out and they get dirty and slimy quick. I keep trying though...they need water. I have a few bowls out with water and food. Birds wo t have much to do with them. No idea why. Squirrels seem to be the only ones using them.

Hi there! I have bought an animal fountain, set it up but it runs for avout five minutes and stop running after that. I am wondering if my power packs were maybe not steong enough?? What capacity are yours??
Help!!! We set up a fountain as shown in the video and 3 months later no hummingbirds have checked it out. We live in Eastern Washington and have at least 3 regular hummingbirds coming to our feeders and plants. They yet have stopped to drink and play in the fountain. I tried it as is and than with the little pot over it - no luck. Any ideas why they are not interested?
Keep in mind, they’re taking a bath somewhere else already. Try putting some small potted flower plants around it. And they may be going to it when you don’t see him. Here they take a bath at 5:30 in the morning.

I only get 2 or 3 different hummingbirds at my feeder at different times, I put the bath pretty close to the feeder but not one goes in it 😢 what am I doing wrong or what else can I do.

Hello Robbie. First i would like to thank you for providing so many ideas on ways to get moving water into a garden that are not expensive. Second, i have found an issue with the usage of power banks and wondered if you have encountered it and if so, how you solved for it. I have a newer power bank i wanted to use to run 2 pet waterer-fountains. However, the power bank has an auto shut off for when the draw gets too low. and the pet fountains are not drawing enough power, so my power bank keeps shutting off after 30 seconds. it was very hard to spot in the product description on-line, but i suspect it is "over charging protection" (and i have not found exactly what the threshold is). Have you had this issue also? any ideas on workarounds or maybe particular power bank brands that do not have the auto-shut off?

I bought the pet fountain that has a USB charger. However, I can’t use it outside because it would damage the pump when it rains. So, you must not get rain? I’ll have to return it sadly.
You can put the pump under a plastic bucket or other type of protection from the rain.
