Fluid art Mardi Gras bead chain string pull! Acrylic pour string painting technique for beginners

- Today I tried an acrylic pour string pull technique with Mardi Gras beads! This was similar to a chain pull, but different since the beads are larger than the balls on the ball chain. I also used Mardi Gras colors, which I think came out super fun :) Let me know what you think!

THIS VIDEO IS INTENDED FOR ADULTS.
The best beanpole I have ever seen. I have seen a lot of string pause and this is stunning.
Lol are you doing voice to text?
No beanpoles either. Lol, BEADS.
Yes, can u tell. I'll stop the voice to text. Makes me look like an idiot. LOL
Well it gives me a good laugh 🤣🤣🤣
I Love this "Chain Pull" Simply Beautiful
NOLA would be as proud as a King Cake. Great technique and color choices❗👍😁🤗
Stunningly beautiful and awesome work! You are loving every minute of what you do!
Love it. I grew up 100 miles north of NOLA so it has a special place in my heart!!! Have you ever seen a mardi gras tree???
I have not :) didn't know there was such a thing
@@MixedMediaGirl well it's the trees on the parade routes that have beads thrown in them that parade goers didnt catch. They are a spectacular site.
Awesome!!! I will be going to NOLA soon, I can't wait (unfortunately not for Mardi gras though...)
You'll have so much fun, the locals are unlike anyone you will ever meet in your lifetime, they are always smiling and happy, tho their accent is hard to understand because they talk fast. My two words of advice is to wear good walking shoes and go to Cafe Du Monde for coffee and beignets!
I really like this painting and I think its patterned look is awesomely beautiful!
This is my favorite "chain pull" ever!!!! This piece is so fun! Very inspiring! ♡♡
Love it so much! 💞😍
You took my comment straight out of my head!!!!!!!!!! This IS literally my favorite chain pull ever!!! 🍻🎉
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have to say , doing it the way you have with pouring the paint on the beads seems to be easier and this really turned out so so awesome. i love it. mardi nice..............lol.
OMG ... I Love It ... Love It ... Love It ... Can't wait to ty it ... Thanks for all you do !!!
I've never seen a bad pull done by putting the paint on the beads on the canvas! So cool!
So cool! Very pretty and unique. Definitely going to try a bead string pull. Thank you.
So I just tried this and it worked!!! I wish I could post a picture! First time ever doing anything like this! Thanks!
Thank you for inspiring my son and I to go to Michael's and create some fluid art projects. We both love your videos.
Mobilian approves!
Holy crap, that's awesome! I totally suck at chain pulls but I'm gonna give this a try! It's 2:30 am & I wish I could do it right now! Lol!
There are benefits to being an adult...lol
Mixed Media Girl Lol! True, but the hubs sleeps near my work area! (He sleeps in our recliner due to a logging injury, which puts him about 8 feet from my table! I was pretty tempted though)! Yes, I paint in the rear area of my living room! 😆😂😆😂😆
That came out really cool
so easy and beautiful
Yesss. It's so cool, like you said how the colors are together! 💙
Oh my gosh, I love this! I can't wait to try it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
I love it and will have to get some beads tomorrow 👍🏻
Looks great. And tomorrow is Fat Tuesday. Parade time/party time. My favorite was always the Zulu parade. But be glad you not down in NO right now. It can get wild. LMBO!!! xxx. 💗😍💗
Love this and the colors. I love the hint of black, too. Would love to see you do another one with a little more black 😊👍🏼
But, wonderful piece.
Lol usually people complain that o use too much black, your comment is refreshing :)
Love it 🥰
Omg, that is so freaking cool. I am totally in love with that technique. I've got to get some of these beads now. That is the coolest. It's so beautiful. TFS so much!
Oh my goodness! 😍😍😍 So fun!!! Love it! 💖🥰💖
Wow this is beautiful! 😻
This is soo pretty, I just got some Mardi Gras beads now I know what I’m going to do 😁
Love this!
“I don’t have an exact plan for this.” Yeah that’s me everytime I paint lol
Lol me too!
Mixed Media Girl I did an open cup pour today (posted in the Facebook group) of white black pink and copper (why not lol) and it was done and my response was “oh so that’s what those colors together look like.” 😂
@@nikkitraver7092 lol I'll check it out :)
Mixed Media Girl thanks!
Nikki Traver Me too! I usually just wing it! Lol!
This is soooo lovely!! It's a different technique but reminds me a lot of some of the rolo-chain pulls Wigglz Art has done recently, I can't recall if you've referenced him before but he's super fun to watch. I would love to see a pull like this with both the Mardi Gras beads and the rolo-chain to make slightly varying patterns. I imagine that would be lovely too. 😍
Yes, he's awesome! I can totally try that :)
Perfect!
you could place your beads or string on a canvas and then do a normal pour, maybe tree ring, on top, and then pull them out
Awesome idea! I'll give it a go :)
Perfection! awesomeness!
I am so in love with this!! I've got to try this. I already have the beads from past years so yeah!! Love it
Neat
Damn, that was epic! ❤️
Very pretty! Is the paint you pour on the beads the same consistency as the base coat?
It is good to make in black background
Reminds me of a feathered headdress.
When doing a string pull should i use beaded strings or could i use elastic bracelet cords.
So I just layer all colors on the beads? Can I use single color on chain too?
So, id love to do a chain pull using navy, gold, and a yellowish green....but i need the background to be more beige than white.....would it still work?? how do you know how much background paint to put down?
This is soo cool. I wish to do paint pors with mixed media added. Do you have a web site that I ccan view? Or where to get ideas.
My 4yo knows your voice 🤣, "I want to watch paint"
Awwww
You need to put your paint down first, and then put your bead in and pull it all knids of way. I have done many.
Cheese I can't spell so below it was supposed to say can any other place I have a mistake just figure it I was excited I was just trying to convey how exciting this turned out. Great job. It's jeez. Not cheese. I better shut up.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Do mix glue in the paint
How do you get your paint thin i tried this but the paint was to thick
what's the name of the white or black paint used first when doing bead art?
This is all pouring paint. All materials are in the description :)
Sweet!!! I like it!!!! ❤ I just posted a video of a free giveaway drawing for a piece of my art and gave you a shout out. I hope you do not mind. Your art is always fun!
