Five people don't know what an arpeggio is, nor would they know what to do with one if they did. Masterful use of arps btw. This guy takes the norm and makes it frickin' awesome, every time.
Those licks over the arpeggios thing is very useful

he is starting the scale from the fourth degree. C lydian, so the progression would be in G Maj

@z0mgzt0m it's kinda like using modal concept so you have to think in terms of note.
Let's take the Ami7 and Bmi7 lick as an example. Ami7 note: ACEG, Bmi7 note: BD(F#)A. So if u play this lick over Ami chord, it could give u a dorian sound due to the F#. You use arpeggios as an tool to creat interval and single note homony so u wouldn't end up sounding like a whole minor scale although u almost play all the note in it.

hmm im confused, is he just harmonized the g major scale and played the corresponding tonality of arpeggio over each scale degree?

nope, nothing to do with the Laguna, it's just a matter of practice. Good string action [read: low] helps but you can have that on any guitar.

But I don't understand his "scales" progression; ok for the first one in "C maj7", then he played D7, E-7, F# -7 b5, G maj7, A-7 and finally a B-7.
He didn't play a C maj7 harmonized scale which normally is:
Cmaj7, D-7, E-7, Fmaj7, G7, A-7 and B-7 b5
What's this progression ?
If somebody can tell me, thanks per advance.
