Lol! Dude this truck is fun! It looks so cool, and gets as much attention as a Ferrari. Actually probably more. This one was sooo clean! Cherry!
1974 was the only year that they had the 1.8 litre motor. My first vehicle was a 1975 datsun with the 2 litre engine, that I bought brand new at age 18, it was a good solid, and reliable truck, with great styling.

It is so amazing how many comments and views it has gotten through the years. This video has basically put our CZcams channel where it is.

@@williamperri3437 The clutch in classic Toyotas like this are very smooth and forgiving. There are some cars out there that you have like a hair to work with on clutch engaging, take off, and dying. The make model are not super rare. They however as you can see from the comments are loved world wide. This one is super rare because it is low mileage and pristine condition.
@@williamperri3437 Yes sir they are lucky! We were lucky enough to have it in our inventory twice. We try to respond to all our messages.
I had a yellow one back in 2000. Drove it for a while, then the brakes locked up. Had other issues after that. Sold it to a guy from Mexico who was in love with these trucks.
As long as they are maintained they are like tanks and last forever.
@@StreetDreamsTexas Quite correct. I loved these 620 series Datsun trucks and especally the 521 series Datsun trucks to. They were pretty darn good looking trucks to.

Great example of a 620! I was lucky enough to find a well documented and low mile 79 5 speed 620 4 hook recently. Doing a partial restore now.
Awesome! These are great little trucks. This video got a crazy amount of attention. So if you want any kind of CZcams status. You could shoot some videos of restoration work, or some cool one after you finish. These trucks are great, and as you can see by the comments are liked around the world.

The one thing though about these little girls is that they rust out really fast. Best thing to do is get a couple quarts of black rust olem paint and spray paint the chassis and frame along with the floorboards to coat the underside of your truck along with the underside of your bed along with the sides of your bed to. This is your very best bet to keep things preserved and in good condition for the future.
This is true in most cases. Luckily this one did not have signs of rust and was well preserved. We hope the next owner has kept it up as well.

Excelentes máquinas sencillas, pero muy fuertes y economicas en el consumo de combustible. Sin necesidad de tanto sensor y babosadas que al final no sirven para nada, no más para aumentar el precio del vehículo y por ende las reparaciones y sus partes.

That is what my 72 datsun 620 looked like from the factory minus the seats, rims, and grill (I have the older grill). And my hood stripes wrapped around the front of the hood behind the chrome trim.

I still have the truck but over the years it has gone through so much from mini truck days to old man days lol the paint is gone and just primer now and I need to figure how to cove the gaping hole behind the seat that was made for a blow through speaker box.

When I rebuild mine there was a bed liner that would perfectly fit that truck. It was a Isuzu truck bed liner, I forgot what year . Because as up to 1990 there wasn't one made for it. The only differences was were it covered the tires the cover were like 2 inches longer which didn't hurt anything because you wouldn't see it. and the cover that fit on the tail gate fit perfect. Sorry about not remembering the date on the bed liner but maybe someone can track it down. Its really needed because the truck bed isn't double line.

Your datsun kool I still have my 620 I bought may 10 1975 , I pay 3,500 with 8 mile drove off the lot ,need to be restore, I still own it iam 68 yrs ,when your 19 had sell my 1973 camaro lt Z28 ,that still bug me stay kool

So I just want to say HEAVEN...had a 73 $2100 new.had around 175,000 miles still ran like a top..so easy to work on .was thru many trevales like it's buddy me.(curse of mrs.wrights island island).heck 85000 miles I give u $2100 cash rite now

I wanted to add that I currently have a 1986 Nissan hardbody 4x4 king cab 5 speed. The problem I have with it is the DAWG GONE door linkage rod clips breaking so I just leave a window open. If you have info of where I can buy both passenger and driver side door handles along with associated linkage rod clips.

Hehehe, This one is in great shape and has continued to be well taken car of and cherished. No hard miles on it. It has likely been babied kept indoors etc all its life. Museum worthy vehicle for sure!

Beautiful truck ya got here. Wish they were still made. When Biden shut down the oil pipe lines like he did, and gas is going through the roof like it's doing now, who knows? Maybe these little tucks will come back into style again. Hopefully.
Likely the price of trucks and cars that are more gas efficient like this will go up from here fourth. Especially since they closed another American pipe line.

@@StreetDreamsTexas vehicle over here we can't use it more then 20 years,to prevent old vehicle often breaking down on the road,even if you apply permit to be able to use it for longer,the insurance cost will be very high and parts will be very hard to find when parts starts breaking down
