$500 bucks is an absolute steal for this lot! The minipla sets alone would probably set you back $250, and a set of boxed OhRanger flipheads runs for $200 on a good day. Really nice haul. I'd love to see a review of the OhRanger flipheads and a comparison with the Zeo Automorphins, really curious to see how different they are. It's cool to see how Bandai Japan adopted BoA's automorphin concept and kept it running for a lot longer than Power Rangers did. The Kakuranger flipheads are my personal holy grail, I've seen full mint sets of those run for $2500! The Sentai DVDs are also a really nice inclusion here. I haven't seen Megaranger but I've heard great things about it. Super different from Power Rangers In Space. Same thing with Carranger and Gingaman. Jetman, Dairanger, and Kakuranger are all really cool early 90s seasons too. Oh, and the Minipla sets are a real treat! The ninja megazord is still my favorite Minipla set of all time, I think you'll have a lot of fun with it. The shogun megazord is more tedious to build given how tiny a lot of the pieces are, but it's still a really neat collectible. Bandai has also been making Super Shodo figures for the rangers to go with these mechs, they're basically the same scale as the die-cast figures but with extensive articulation.
I actually had the blue Kakuranger fliphead back when I was in elementary school,, but at the time, I did not know how rare it was! I got it from this seller who had red, yellow and pink ohranger and mega yellow and pink flipheads. I have seen white and red of kaku by themselves over the years, including a white when I was very young. My mom refused to get it for me though because the place it came from has smokers in it, and at the time she didn't like that. I am kicking myself for that. I am still looking for them and the other four ohrangers since I sold my last complete set. Sadly my blue kaku was sold right before I moved into my current apartment.
That is some rare stuff you got there! I personally am trying to rebuild my Sentai set. I sold my diecast Kakus a while back now want them again lol! The Oh flipheads I had a complete set too a few years ago, now I have red again and want to get the rest. Any Kaku flipheads there, or mega flipheads?
this will be a fun video to see but you aren't saying Zyuranger right just for the record since it's more like Juu so it rhymes with zoo but Japan doesn't pronounce the Z in the name like that the way we do here in the U.S. hopefully I explained that decent enough since I'm not the best at that I don't recall Kakuranger using those weapons much if anything but don't quote me on that since I really only recall Ninja Black using his but I'll have to check on that later since I really only remember those weapons from the mecha but I do recall Red using the knuckle thing since footage of that slipped through into 1 of the Power Rangers episodes
Hello @MattZRJSRoxy, Your probably 100% correct. I'm not very well versed on Super Sentai. I'm really only familiar with the American adaptation for the most part. Thank you for the correction so I don't continue to miss pronounce it.
