    Yes, we get more of the behavior we pay attention to; can be hard to remember in the moment; training in ABA really helped me see how we must reinforce the behavior we want to see and resist "feeding" unwanted behaviors with scolding!

      It is absolutely hard to remember in the moment, you are right! Sometimes I would 'practice' in advance with myself, especially when I knew a student would repeat an obnoxious behavior - just so I wouldn't get triggered. ;)
