Kindergarten interview questions

A kindergarten (or nursery or preschool) interview with questions and answers! It doesn't sound good. Why should small children be subjected to an interview? However getting ready for kindergarten is now big-time stuff! Kids are expected to know so much. Here is a short video of a child answering a few basic questions. This may not be a kindergarten interview, more like a basic conversation in English. Of course the child answering has to have some basic general knowledge (GK) and is often expected to talk about some basic fruits, vegetables, colours, animals, birds, etc. Sometimes even the alphabet and numbers!
We do not subscribe to the idea of an interview for kindergarten admission - it seems quite absurd and could be stressful. But basic conversational skills for kindergarten seeking children may always be useful.
Basic questions like 'What is your name?', 'What colour do you like?' etc. could be used to start off a conversation with small children.
