  • Francesca Robinson helps Chris find his dream cruiser, as she has him test ride the 2001 model Triumph Thunderbird, and give us his review of the British machine. He tests the bike for it's performance, handling, practicality, reliability, as well as rating it's looks.

      erepsekahs, I guess you like them over 300 lbs and with some real short hair and massive table muscles. I don't like'm that big, but hey to each his own. Now go find one and have at it...

    Only 5 for practicality because it's a "big bike", REALLY, it's only a 900. He must be a scooter guy,
    What would he think of Triumph's 1700cc Storm or 2300cc Rocket ?
    I would give it a 9 or 10 for practicality and I've probably been riding longer (since 1970) and logged more miles than this fellow. In Canada the bikes are very well priced so I would also give it a 9 to 10 for value. I've been riding Triumphs for decades with no road-side breakdowns so I would also give 10 for reliability. But what do I know, this guys the expert.

    i think this bike is super practical, easy to ride, powerful and room to customize....these scores were way off....

      I totally agree matt toronto .. and the reliability score how does that even come into play here he rode the bike for maybe 20 minutes lololol

    I have a 2000 Thunderbird. I agree with the Handel bars too upright. I pulled mine down a bit and lowered the dampner on the monoshock. rides better.
