I feel like we saw the good cases, and now we're back to normal. And normal doesn't feel like you're getting your money's worth at $400+
It’s going to all depend on the Flares IMO. If they become must have “free” spells it’ll probably hold close to 400$, but if they just end up being meh I don’t see it either.
idk these boxes seeme dpretty fire. BUT if u see alot of boxes being oppend u can tell that its also a high flip. Sometimes u get insane value, sometimes half or less imo.
Collector boxes should be 250, regular boxes should be 150 across the board. I bet they would sell 20x more if it was set prices.
Wotc doesn’t control the pricing
The market sets the value. Things are only worth what people will pay.
id say collectors should be 300$ and play's 200 $ for the special sets it kind of hits the middle ground of being overpriced but not being crazy than the collector sets of the other universe like fallout should be 400$ thats just how I see it.
They create there own demand by not producing enough and driving the price up. They 100% control the pricing. If priced modest and Mass produced the market couldn't jack the price.
@@benjaminhaxton1753 all they would need to do is update their brick and mortar contracts with sellers. they're able to control distribution of promos and prerelease kits. they did away with msrp so they could gouge, and thats all there is to it

I love magic the gathering and I’m not hating on y’all cause I love the channel, however opening boxes and getting excited for cards that aren’t yours is a level of love and addiction I aspire to have one day. 😊

Isn't it FU***G crazy how all the youtubers who got the product early, got a return from every box they opened? Like, all the YT who got it, open up amazing products and you bet, when it hits the market properly, 80% of boxes will be duds.
Before you buy a box, be aware that yes, it will have good cards but 60% of boxes will not give you the money back. Be aware of it.

its more like at 400$ id rather just buy any deck i want or any single from even this set i want lol like the new emrakul is like 30$ right now and if i just want that card its just better to buy it over a 400$ box and not get it haha, i love opening packs dont get me wrong but like damn theres a certain point where the price is just too much for me i guess

The Etched foils are going to have a price tag due to not having many prints and the pull rate has decreased.
My feeling for this set is : buy 1 collector booster and pray lol

The Extended art foils look really awesome for this set. Futuristic, crisp. The ferguson ones look like crap though 😜 haha. I like Dominaria remastered Ferguson more ❤

14:39 "We've sold 60 collector boxes and 2 play boxes." They really did drafters dirty with the price increase at the low end.
Updated numbers: sac land pull rate is down to 4.45 per box. That case started out good, but if I counted correctly, the last two boxes had 1 and 2 😬. Did get another 7 box though, so that was awesome!!

400 a box, thats why we got people like you to open it, because i sure can't.. not at the rate that you guys do anyways.. I'd be willing to bet a LARGE percentage of magic players cant either, but hey, maybe that's just me

I wanne get in to magic, but idk anything about it. And idk any people who play it. Near my town we got a shop who holds prereleases and other events. But when i get in with 0 knowledge of the game im only a burden for those people. Can someone help me out on this? Much love to all of you❤
Depending on what game mode you want to play I just watched a ton of CZcams videos of gameplay looked up the rules and did a lot of research but where you learn the most is by actually playing don’t be nervous if you have to ask questions just ask them most people are nice about it especially if you tell them you’re new :)
Hi there! There other thing you can do is download MTG Arena on PC or mobile - it'll walk you through the basics at the start and is free to play (with paid options of course, but you won't need to pay anything when learning) - this lets you learn the rules in the comfort of your own home. As for in-person events, there's not a whole lot I can help you with there. If you are going to travel to one, I'd recommend starting with a prerelease as they are a more laid back environment with less strict rules compared to tournaments.

Good point, but for a reference I welcome to you to check out our aftermath openings, I think I threw a pack in the garbage at the end of the first opening :D
The other set that pops into my head is Commander Masters - yeah, it is a great set, but we both agree it was too expensive at release. Pricing is more acceptable these days.

So did you get a lot of comments telling you Grist's pronouns? It seems to be a sore spot for you. There was actually a discussion about it in the wider community because the other planeswalkers got pronouns added and Grist's front side got the pronoun "it" despite earlier saying Grist was a she.
