VS Children during party including shots of Sylvia Sims talks to boy with no arms and Actress Ann Heywood playing with the children including her own baby. The material shows clearly the damage that Thalidomide did to children and how they overcome some of the difficulties. Some of the children have been fitted with artificial limbs. Quite a number of celebrities are there including Larry Adler. A cake is cut to mark the event

    I would have probably had thalidomide back in the day as a suffered of HG really badly

      It affected children world wide. At least she wasn't crying. The other toddler wasn't even fazed by the donkey. What wonderful footage. I think I saw somewhere that the robotic Arms on the boy did not really become the norm. They were not popular back then and most chose to discard them. Maybe nowadays the reverse is true but a lot of victims are no longer alive as it took its toll on their major organs.
