Black stallion works well to be honest!!
I think that "Midnight Tide" might also be a viable option.
Regarding the watch, I think it takes the whole line of ATs to next level and put them on par (for general market) if not way exceeding (to me) the explorers and the OPs.

Love the updates to the bracelet but really not a fan of the now completely polished case. Makes the angles of the case appear less distinct and somehow looks cheaper overall. Apart from less versatility for an 150m WR everyday watch.

The fascination with power reserve on an everyday watch blows my mind. Honestly I prefer the ‘teak dial’ as it offers a point of difference but that’s just personal preference I guess. The pricing for the AT still doesn’t make sense in comparison to Omega’s other models or competitors.

I do like it, and finally a reasonable thickness, but... They offer as a million different dial colours, but still we can't have a no-date option. I would also prefer a fully brushed bracelet. As it is, I would put it in a distressed leather strap to dress it down a bit.

The 8900 movement is excellent, I own the current version of Planet Ocean which I wear every day and the accuracy is impressive. Perfect, except the lume is weak on the minute hand on ATs and looks like it is missing.
Imagine if Omega rereleased the 1967 SM300 like this though.......that would smash everything!

the thickness's the only flaw, they can decrease it further. 11.2 like the BB54 would be great

I agree 100% with the explorer argument. I like the explorer but I truly think it really is just rolex snobbery when any other watch that are beautifully simplistic, will then get compared and talked down on.

Looks superb but I still don't understand why it's so thick. A simple 3 hander with date with Omega's R&D team should be striving for 10 to 11mm thickness. Surely if Tudor can do it with their BB58 and BB54 models Omega can as well.

How about black ice? Apt as I wrote off a Vauxhall OMEGA 25 years ago smacking a curb after hitting black ice 😂

I really want micro adjust on my AT but that new one does not look good leaving a gap in the bracelet … does not look comfy or aesthetically pleasing

If you have issues with the coating coming off, just use polywatch on the crystal to get rid of all the coating. Then you've just got yourself a Rolex.

I heard that the clasp is crap. It would look much better without the date window.
