Lil Bibby on Signing Juice Wrld, Cries Over Juice Dying, Quitting Rap (Full Interview)

- Lil Bibby came through for another VladTV interview, and this time around he managed to get DJ Vlad to do a very rare on-camera appearance. Since it had been some years since his last interview, Bibby shared his story from the beginning, growing up in Chicago and seeing his peers getting attention in the rap world. Seeing them get some success, Bibby decided to start rapping, but he admits that he was never chasing fame.
Lil Bibby went on to speak about signing Juice Wrld after his brother showed Bibby his music, and he knew the late artist would be huge after hearing "Lucid Dreams." Bibby detailed his relationship with Juice Wrld, which he said was often complicated by Juice Wrld's drug use, and Bibby explained how he tried to get him to go to rehab and get clean. Bibby then got emotional while speaking about Juice Wrld's death and going to his funeral, which was the first time he had been to a funeral in years, despite losing a lot of friends. To hear more, including if Bibby will release more music, hit the above clip. - Zábava
Bibby is a real genuine person, their friendship was heartfelt
Except all the bullying he did to juice about some of his mental issues but that’s just some friends shit
Samuel Thadius he didn’t really bully him, even if you say friendly. He knows he had problems
Unbelievable smh u have zero discernment 🤦
@@SamuelThadius12 bro u could be the biggest fan of the world still u wouldnt know how juice was on the everyday... we as fans cant comment nothing on the situation... bibby knows juice not us
Bibby encouraged juice to take his pills and handed them to him in the studio theres a vid of it fuck bibby
bibby got an old soul, definetly a role model and an example that you don have to bbe a product of your enviroment. i never followed his music but im a fan of bibby himself.. good stuff bibby god bless.
Exactly 👌
Real mans man u can tell he prolly like his father, old soul fr
For real, he reminds me of my big brother and we had the same conversation when he confronted me of my opioid addiction when I was younger and how difficult it was for me to try and get him to understand, lol.
Same, I don't listen to his music but I'm a fan of him.
Yall weird his music is good fr
You can tell Bibby was raised right no matter the environment. Emotionally strong, in the rarest form.
facts he frm chicago , but wasnt really on dat gang shii in da street yeah fasho but he was da type to go hoop & sell drugs rather than go shoot n sell drugs lol
He was raised all wrong it's just he always had the ability to think for himself and not be a follower
He saw his momma smoking crack
He wasn’t raised right…but at some point he made a decision.
That’s it.
@@fredm.2699 yeah his mom was a crackhead
I gained so much respect for Bibby right here. A tough guy persona is usually required when coming out of Chicago but to see Bibb be himself and show emotion over the passing of Juice really made me respect him so much.
I feel the exact same way as you. I gained so much respect over that moment. Good man. 💯💯

shit lowkey so sad man, u can see bibby trying not to cry at moments throughout the whole interview🤦🏽♂️.
He a real one, everybody cry, most just wanna hide it because they think its weakness..
but when sad stuff happens, and you got alot of memories, you just gotta let it out man...
@@marcopolo2587 facts crying is just as natural as a smile or getting angry. It’s emotions we all got em
Broke my heart watching bibby try not to cry n get emotional.
It's not healthy to hold that shit in. It honestly kinda disrespectful not to shed some tears for a fallen family member or friend. Shit sucks, and its just gonna eat at you every time you think about it until you let it out.

Lil Bibby has a very calming voice. I could listen to him talk all day.
So pissed that he retired he was killing it. Its been a long 3-4 years without hearing bibby go hard
Herb said he’s trying to pull him out of retirement with a collab album. Shit would be 🔥🔥🔥
For real he was dope af
You can tell Bibby ain’t came to terms with Juice being dead... he still talks about him in the present tense. He said a few different times that “he don’t do that around me” like he’s still here.
I feel for Bibby, a loss of a loved one is hard

I probly would too. He put that on his shoulders as big homie, big bro. Would be tough

Juice was such a good dude that whenever you watch one of his friends talk about him, Bibby, Gherbo, etc., they get excited to even say his name. They don't ever seem to be tired of talking about him and always have good things to say. He was a special person for a lot of people around the world. rip juice

People don’t realize how hard it is to get off drugs for some people. Rip Juice Wrld! Such a great artist.
esp when u got money , a lot easier when ur broke lmao
Exactly what he said some people have addictive personality. Some don't understand how they do
Especially when half your team and girl does it with you and enables the drugs use 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
For real! I was a methadone nurse and never understood what my patients were going through when they'd come in sick as fuck withdrawaling. Unfortunately I became septic and of course got addicted to opioids and it's a horrible game but withdrawals suck!!! It's much more than "just don't do it" juice was right when he told Bibby "I just can't quit. It's not that easy" he was so right. RIP JUICE WRLD

When bibby cried my heart sunk , the fact that mens emotions and feelings are overlooked 24/7 breaks my heart, a lot of men are carrying feelings and emotions that are untreated.

Salute to Bibby... 🙏🏽✊🏽. I’m from the Chi and to see this kid vulnerable in any shape form or fashion, you can’t help but to feel his authenticity as a human being. Kids in the city are so numb and lost behind their current circumstances, they are often unable to feel any emotion that would bring them to the point of tears. I teared up when he during the point of this interview Bibby needed a few to gather himself. All of the accolades and success Bibby is seeing is well deserved. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Never thought I would see Bibby cry.... Bruh almost made me cry

This is a very powerful interview. It gives a behind the scenes look at the Come Up of Juice. How Bibby took him from Nothing to a Global Superstar. It shows another side of Bibby weve never seen being emotional cuz how much he cared about Juice and Cherished their journey together. It shows Bibbys lack of understanding and ability to relate to drug addiction. But Bibbys tears prove how much he loved and how much he misses Juice. Amazing nterview with multiple layers!
