  • Sardines are a nutrient-rich, small, oily sea fish widely consumed by humans and often used as forage fish for larger fish species. These are very popular among the Karnataka, Maharashtra and Kerala coastal population.
    Teppal(Szechuan Pepper) is a very popular spice among the Karnataka coastalites(Konkani’s). It’s known for it’s strong flavor and aroma, which is widely used in most of the coconut based curry(veg and non veg) prepared in these parts.
    We have made one such Sardine Curry using the Teppal(Szechuan Pepper).
