I love Wout Weghorst, doesn't bother me that he isnt the goal scorer we need but he is invaluable to the club right now. Mentality monster, really underrated in build up play and he absolutely loves playing for the club which surely rubs off on these other players who aren't doing enough right now.

You can tell by Casemiro's celebrations (or lack of) that we haven't won anything yet. Reaching a final means little to him. The only thing that matters to him is winning the final.
Let's hope then that he shows up a bit more in the final... He has to, it's City.

Brighton kinda had home advantage in this shootout if you know what I mean. Credit to United. We kept our nerves.
Everything was in their favour, the fact they went first, it was infront of their fans, United's abysmal history in shootouts. I'm amazed we won this as De Gea is always useless in shootouts & he was again in this one. A Brighton player missing the target was always by far the best we could hope for & I can't believe it happened. Unreal win against the odds. Weghorst's mind games may have played a big part. That kiss of death. 😂

Shoutout to Sancho and Rashford. The top corner ones done correct to the keepers right with your favoured foot is unstoppable. As March showed left side with left foot he missed. They were the best ones like how Van Nistelrooy or Rooney use to take them.
Everyone else played it safe by opening up the body or went low which are savable, apart from Sabitzer but his was not high enough.
I say this because let’s not forget Sancho and Rashford missed at Wembley in the Euro final not long ago. I blame Southgate for that. Cool heads this time!

Remembering watching the 1983 FA Cup Final reruns on TV between Brighton and United.... United won 4-0 in the replay after 2-2 draw previously.. too bad Brighton didn't advance to another final but United were calm and collected during the penalty shootout.
I was at the Replay in 83 Robson 2 Whiteside and a Muhren Penalty, I lost my Dad 13 years ago and this brought back mixed memories as we won 40 years ago but watching Yesterday made me think of Dad 👹🇾🇪👹🇾🇪👹

It took 85 minutes for one of our players to get us hyped up and thay was weghorst... we need to keep players with passion and those will fight fight tooth and nail for the club, I couldn't care if the dude never scores again aslong as he keeps bringing his mentality.
