My mother loved the GMWA Women of Worship, and this song really hit close to me because she passed away today, and this song was the first I played after making arrangements with the funeral home. I am broken, but I know she is with the Lord now, resting from her journey.❤
I was the lead singer of this song back when I was in the choir, it got to me every time. The spirit of the Lord just took over and used me for His Glory! Yes Lord!!

My dad had just died at the age of 33 of cancer and my family (mom, me 15, brother 13, and sister 3) was falling apart. We were all hurting so bad we couldn't come together. We just sought outlets (mom different men became an alcoholic, me and my brother drugs, and the streets in Alabama. I remember one day my mom and brother were fighting so badly we were all crying and she told him, "to get out and never come back jo (me) take dis nigga to the place he wanna get to so bad". As we pulled out of the dusty driveway this song came on. He was in the backseat laying down crying.... and i pulled over and hugged him so tightly i could feel our dad hugging us too. It got better over time but I'll never forget this song. I woke up with it in my heart today missing my brother RIP Dantrail Lee Mills
I just lost 2 of my sister's 3 weeks from each other. This song has given me so much encouragement and peace.So I know they r with Jesus. My goal and desire is to see them again.

A young innocent 12 year old longing for heaven because a childhood filled with hell. Thank you God for keeping me safe. I didn’t understand then but now I do. Heaven is still my goal❤️
