Sublime, as usual. Rashid Khan is the best. When I first heard him many, many years back, I had felt as though the Heavens opened and God sang. His voice has a kind of primal, original beauty. Like thunder. The deep and profound melody at the heart of the cosmos. Rabindranath Thakur has a song, 'ki dhwani baaje gahana chetana majhe' set to raag Poorvi, which speaks of the primal melody that fills his heart and being. Of course, Bhimshen Joshi ji is sublime, too.
Your last comment on bhimsen i chuckled. Bhimsen at his peak was untouchable by anyone , the phirat and scales he had are still in my ears

Kumar Gandharva ji 🙏 specially Malkauns 🌹 Darbari and Megh to name a few 👍 I listen to others also for a while... And come back again to our Rashid Bhai 🙏🌹 mesmerizing, captivating, mind blowing 🌹 I rate him as #1 in classical music 🌹 unparalleled 👍 unexcelled 🙏🌹❤️👍 love you Bhai 👍❤️
