$200 for a beach chair is absolutely insane. $15 foldable chairs from Academy is what I and many others are happy with.
Update: Sunflow had turned out to be one of Kevin's best investments with annual sales of around $15M. Thanks to Kevin's connections, he secured deals for the company with multiple cruise ships and hotels. Kevin made $700k from the $5 royalty per chair and more than $390k from his 5% equity. The company is now worth $48M.
Congratulations to you Kevin and to the entrepreneurs. The other sharks made absolutely zero sense with their criticism or feedback. I'm glad Kevin took this deal. He's a truly solid entrepreneur and his understanding of various types of businesses and evaluation is always spot on. Congratulations.

When Sunflow appeared on Shark Tank, the company was generating $2.5 million in annual sales. During their first year of operations after the Shark Tank appearance, the company's annual sales shot up to $6 million. From that point onward, Sunflow has consistently achieved a 25% monthly increase in sales.Apr 5, 2024
Update on the update on sunflow, since their appearance on shark tank tanks have plummeted by over 70% monthly. Kevin slept with the wife of the owner and they are no longer business partners.

I swear to God the majority of pitchers are straight up out of their minds. They're the ones trying to make a living needing our money. Why would I ever spend money on such marginally expensive products that cost pennies to make in comparison? I can live just fine without these products, and the price point is RARELY affordable enough to warrant shelling out that amount. They're supposed to INCENTIVISE purchasing....
