I dont think she is going to betray us (mostly because from her perspective it doesn't seem advantageous and from a meta perspective how would she be playable). Her ties to the fatui are purely circumstantial and used for benefiting her and her children. She would betray us if it was useful, but it isn't, Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet all see us as family and all we have seen of Arle indicates that this family she has might not be blood or really important to others, but it most certainly is important to her even beyond the machinations of the fatui. If it wasn't she would've let the three use delusions, but she doesn't, at all. I think from the perspectives Childe and Wanderer had they are telling the truth, Arlecchino does play as a wolf in sheeps clothing, she acts very nice (gives us and furina cake and treats us well) but she is extremely dangerous and intelligent, she uses that act well. Childe isn't wrong in saying Arle would betray the Tsaritsa or that she is untrustworthy, she has her own goals and beliefs which she holds to above all else and it seems that a part of those goals would benefit from having us as an ally rather than as an enemy. Much like how many of the fatui wish to fulfill the Tsaritsa's goals and their own the same is true for Arlecchino but instead of the Tsaritsa being the primary objective she places hers first. This seems in line with her character.
Family
If she is betraying Fatui and Tsaritsa she is actually sane maybe in the eyes of other Fatui Harbingers she will be a traitor but Traveller will call her hero who wants house of hearth free from Fatui. Maybe previous Knave was 10th and Arrlechino killed her and became fourth.

It was left ambiguous. The previous director of the orphanage is equally likely to be either dead or alive. We do not know. It's a "Schrödinger" situation with their status.
Guy who tried to sic a sentient divine flood in a nation to kill a god, in a plan that resulted in a bunch of House of the Hearth alumni available to die in the Chasm which is being postponed by the Abyss about a the current head of the House of the Hearth who seems to be suffering from since route of Abyssal mutation and is apparently obsessed with saving a nation from a divine flood: "Dude, she's crazy, IDK."
Though the Fatui's motives and goals are not so clear, it doesn't mean that we should let our guard down. They are not outright bad guys BUT they seem to be willing to do *anything* to achieve whatever the goals the Fatui and the Tsaritsa have.
Remember sweet and likable Childe summoning Osial to lure the Geo archon out and get his gnosis? That tells you enough that he was willing to endanger civilians to achieve his goals. Some of the fatui may not act like classic Disney villains, but that to me just make them more dangerous.

I believe her hands are partially cursed same as hilichruls. As she forsook her God(fontaine) and went to Snezhnaya(betrayed her god). That too explains why she has a Snezhnaya vision.

I cannot express how much I hop columbina will be our next playable harbinger. Also the fact that arlecchino is going to be a weekly boss right when the intermission quest typically comes out, or who knows maybe she become a weekly boss in her own story quest.

I feel like the only constant throughout her character is her seeming care for the children. She's very evil, insane and psychotic along with putting on mask for every situation(as she herself says). She seems to legitimately care for the HoTH children, as so far every playable character whose been evil has a sort of redeeming quality from what I can tell(it's just a borderline headcanon/theory on my part). I feel like Arlecchino would be the gateway into having more just pure evil characters join the roster of playable characters. As she's more evil than every other evil playable character, but seems to genuinely care for the HoTH children. Despite her being willing to manipulate events for her favour and putting on a face/mask of sanity as to not make an enemy of the Traveller. At the very least she's playing her cards right as to avoid making any mistakes with her final goal.
She's one of the most interesting characters lore wise IMO. Hope her story quest does her justice!

Betraying the Fatui will save her. Once the Tsaritsa successfully collect the gnosis, the remaining Harbingers will fight the celestia. If that's happen then she also will be left out in the biggest event or the conclusion of the Fatui.

I don't give much credit to Wanderer's quotes because, as he himself said, always goes more for the bad side of people. So, he unintentionally says half-truths about characters and what he tells about people should be interpreted along with other informations. Like Arleccino saving the twins, it may be because she's manipulative or cunning, but can either be that she's someone very protective, empathetic and although she tries to be calm and composed most of times, she becomes a total beast when someone she cares for is put in danger. Just like Raven, who is her Honkai counterpart. Oh and Dottore is Grey Serpent by the way!

To be honest I’m hyped for her story quest in 4.6. I hope for one of two things…
1. She betrays the Fatui & The Tsaritsa. Protecting the House of The Hearth.
Or 2. She gets possessed by the previous Knave, and you have to fight her. (I say this because I have at theory that during the clash between Arlecchino and the old Knave, something could of happened that led to a piece of the Knave being left in Arlecchino. This is just bc in the official leaks of 4.6, you fight at a grave. And in one of the idle animations, she tends to glitch in different poses. And although these poses are silhouettes of her, I have a feeling that it’s NOT her. It’s the previous Knave. Of course I could just be wrong. But that’s just a theory. A GAME THEORY!!! Sighhhh… I miss MatPat…)

Arlecchino is clearly a big manipulator, she’d do anything for her personal gain and yes that even using the children as her pawn. She might have been protecting them from “danger” but who knows that maybe even those tragic incidents could have been staged. If people really thought she cares about anyone other than herself then they have probably trapped in the wolf’s nest too.

Edit: You're losing me here with saying that Arlecchino and Columbina have any connection whatsoever aside from both being Harbingers based on literally nothing. It's important to understand Genshin doesn't 1:1 the Commedia with the Harbingers, especially NOT their relationships! Otherwise, Signora would've been married to Pantalone/in love with him, and Columbina would be Pierro's lover first, which sounds like a right mess.
Don't bring Western fanart nonsense into a serious theory video, maybe? The only Harbinger Columbina has interacted with canonically is Dottore, at the end of WNL, and we know they have a flirty relationship from his lack of threatening her for teasing/"insulting" him - in other words, they like each other (compared to the neutral way Dottore treats Capitano & Pierro, and hostile way he treats Scaramouche, threatening to destroy him if he disrespects him again at the Akademiya.)
Arlecchino was more concerned with Signora and they share more parallels/themes (moth/spider respectively, as well as possibly abyssal creatures, tho Signora got corrupted, Arlecchino we don't know.)
But yeah, there will NEVER be a canon ship between playable characters, it's worth saying. Genshin doesn't do ships unless they're NPCs or dead (Signora x Rostam, Zhongli x Guizhong, Dottore x Sohreh, etc.), they do ship teasing with multiple characters and they are wise for that because it'd just create problems, especially what you highlighted with just a bunch of hxrny mfs making "ships" out of thin air with zero canonical evidence, it's almost as bad as Shenhe x Yelan in completely ignoring the actual canon of both characters that is known thus far (they've never met and don't even have voice lines about each other/Yelan has no relation to Xingqiu. Just stuff hxrny mfs dreamt up, which is fine for whatever fanart you want to do but does NOT belong in a lore theory video when it isn't even close to canon. As of right now, we have seen zero interactions between them.) Or just the characters at all, lol. Columbina likes Dottore? Western fandom just ignore that and ship her with Arlecchino because they're both women, even though they have never interacted and Columbina wasn't even bothered to bat for Arlecchino when she was squabbling with Pulcinella and Pantalone. You could make more of an argument Arlecchino was in love with Signora considering she's the only one who stuck up for her at the funeral, though even so, that was an act ("making the children cry," yea ask Freminet about that lol.) But yeah, very cringe to bring Western fan arts that aren't canon into a theory video assuming everyone likes that when a lot of people don't ship that and it isn't lore, supported by existing lore, or even relevant to the discussion at hand.
I would suggest not including your personal ships in the future, even unrelated to this, whatever they are. I ship DottoBina and despite there actually being canon evidence for that, I'm not stupid - Genshin isn't going to make any ships canon, the fandom is insane enough without adding that to the equation. But yeah, Signora and Pantalone NOT being a thing, and presumably Pierro and Columbina aren't either (he again also seems more concerned with Signora, even calling her by her real name), we can deduce Harbingers do not 1:1 the Commedia, especially NOT in relation to one another. We DO have canon evidence of that. Columbina is also next to Dottore, even literally in the leaked art of the Harbingers. You can't just cherrypick things that suit you, rn there is literally zero reason for Columbina or anyone else to appear in Fontaine, Arlecchino has the Gnosis, and Neuvillette does NOT trust this woman. Maybe if you weren't too busy simping, you'd have noted that, he gave her the Gnosis to avoid fighting over it, because Fontaine had suffered enough losses and he didn't need its authority to rule over Fontaine. Her quest likely will be related to her past, and we know she has a double personality, the previous Knave notwithstanding, if there was one at all, Arlecchino doesn't seem much better. We've seen her willing to attack Furina, and not even apologise for it. Furina cried herself to sleep that night, but y'all simps ignore the red flags lol. The kids' dialogue is fxcked too.
As far as Pierro's line on Arlecchino, likely it was that the Fatui harbingers must temper a strong will to challenge Fate, and that must be Arlecchino's motivation for being in the Fatui, prophecy aside. I believe she was able to recognise Furina was cursed because something similar happened to her, we see she is somewhat demonic-looking and we know we are fighting her, not any other Harbinger (iykyk.)
Fatui business in Fontaine is over, Arlecchino business seemingly not. I don't think she will betray the Fatui so quickly, perhaps even not at all considering her Harbinger jacket has the vision inlaid, and it would be awkward for a non-Fatui Harbinger to wear Harbinger clothes (all Harbinger jackets share similar design elements with stuff on the back highlighting the spine.) Dottore's robe that mimics a lab coat has it (yea, it's actually a robe), as does Childe's jacket. Diluc's Red Dead of Night skin also shares this attribute, it was made especially to blend in as a Fatui Harbinger. Arlecchino's does as well, so unless she is getting a redesign, she is not likely to leave the Fatui like Scaramouche did. It is too tied lore-wise to the Fatui design, though if she does leave I hope they make a better design for her, her boss design is so good but her playable design is trash lmao.
But whos to say everything that Arlecchino says is the truth though? their harbingers that have their own goals that just ended up being Harbingers because it benefits them. That's why i used air quotes "love interest". That whole segment wasnt about ships either if you watched it, it was to highlight ALL the Harbingers using each other for their own benefit (mostly ecchios and anyone with Innamorati for this tho) I just made a joke about the fanarts too 😅 I dont talk about leaks either :P

Other gotcha games don't drag things this long Genshin is doing l and they don't even make 1/10 of miyoho makes so get off my God damn back because the majority of casual players like myself and hardcore players are getting tired of it. @@akarirei going to say it again since CZcams probably deleted my comment I've played other gacha games I don't even make 1/4 of what miyoho makes in a year that has better story telling than this cliffhanger game. I've put 7000 hours to this game played since 1.1 and over time the cliff hanging kept getting worse and worse. The majority of people that are casual players like myself and hardcore gamers are getting tired of the three dead patches we been having and for you to assume that I'm just one of those players that can't wait is laughable maybe do your research on people before you talk about them. I've been uploading both world quests and archon and events since 1.1 and it's getting increasingly annoying that this patch was a dead patch. They could've done a dainlieth quest but no let's do s pointless event with some story telling of characters while the NPC gets more story telling than the actual characters we spend money on this game on a yearly basis. Even star rail has better story telling than Genshin at this point and it's sad that this is how things are going with Genshin impact. I thought that the fountaine match would have better story telling which it did in the beginning until we got hit with 3 dead patches. Yes my PS5 tells me that I've spent over 7000 hours on this game which isn't completely accurate by 1/3 of the amount since I would leave the game running while I did errands and also passed out in the middle of the game multiple times because of how boring some of the world quests gotten. Oh and btw it's not hard to do storytelling in games but what is hard is dealing with almost 2 months of dead patches and updates. Other games don't even pull this and they have better story telling than what's been going on since 4.2 1/2 - 4.5
