Isn’t the whole point of a sniper is that it’s good at range? Funny changes
but it was way too strong, snipers in real life have a ton of bullet drop

I think if Epic is going to have different projectiles for different weapons, which IMO they absolutely should- then they NEED to make modifications much more accessible.
Right now, not only do we have to deal with the RNG of weapon spawns, but the RNG of weapon attachments too, which can only be adjusted in very specific high traffic areas or out in storm locations part way through the game.
I had mastered bullet drop with the sniper before the update, at least with holo scope & the sniper scope- it used to be at the bottom of the crosshair with the holo at max distance, & first large indent on the sniper scope- I could somewhat translate that to the red dot & thermal- but with the bullet drop now being OVER twice as big, I'll have to relearn with the sniper scope, & I'll more or less be guessing with the other 3 scopes.
It'll take a lot of practice to master the other 3 scope heights as it could only be learned by muscle memory as only the sniper scope has usable indicators- but if Epic decides to change it again, then it's learning 4 different scopes for the one weapon all fucking over again.
At least if Epic allowed weapon mod hotswapping(dragging mods from weapon to the other), then you'd more frequently be able to use your preferred scope for the specific weapon which reduces some of the excessive RNG & luck involved in the game at the moment.

I like how i went from not hitting any shots with the sniper to having around a 70% accuracy with it in one of my ranked games then saw the video and was confused why i was doing better than before. I quickscoped headshot a guy out the air somehow

I honestly felt like the nerf before this update was already enough to make snipers balanced apart from making them only have a 1 bullet mag (2 with attachments). that would have been perfect but now they just feel kinda awkward to use and theyre basicly useless to get surge in laggy lobbies where it was already really difficult hitting snipes before. Not a good change imo (might be biased tho since i fucking love snipers)
edit since ive seen people say "pros will hit anyway": well yeah but the weapon should be usable and enjoyable for everyone, not just the top 1-2% of players
Love the sniper changes. It’s still fully possible to get headshots, but it takes much more skill. Glad Epic finally listened.

I'm pretty sure legendary hand cannon does like 190-200 (if you're close enough cuz there is damage drop off)

Me and my brother were gonna play to try and get the glider but now knowing what duos are playing we are dead
I played solos and got 75 in two games. You have unlimited games and 4 hours, it’s very easy
At this point they might aswell just remove the sniper
With all those changes they could also already give the FNCS title to Pollo and Peterbot it will be quicker🙄

Yo imo snipers should not one shot but do high damage to the head and over 100 in the body, thoughts? (also the limited bullets are a very good idea maybe 12 bullets extra as a cap?)

I don't mind the changes to the snipers I've never been a fan of them I just feel in competitve even if you and strafe and jump as much as possible if someone hits a lucky headshot snipe from 100 meters away there's nothing you can do and its frustrating especially if there a drone.Also the amount of times I been sniped and cracked lost all my heals in a tournament leaving me scuffed and then they just run away because they didn't headshot snipe me is so annoying.
The whole reason cooper and mero split was because mero wanted to grief bugah and knew cooper really still cared ab going to lan…. So why would mero team up with bugah
I disagree with what U said for water bending mythic I think you could use it for heal off like it would be easy to do heal offs maybe even potentially outheal storm sickness if U have a banana and medkits

I doubt bugha is duoing with mero, but clix instead hear me out. Bugha has fr been asking clix to drop epikwhale, he's been playing with him more on stream, and has been hanging out with him offstream. Clix on stream even said "why does bugha want me to drop epikwhale and play with him so bad". Last stream clix said he'll be playing the ranked cup today with bugha, and clix will pull insane viewers if he duos with a fanfavorite with bugha. Clix is also somewhat considering it if you watch him off stream. Don't be suprised if another snakening happens just saying
If bugha claims he will retire after this season then this is the best time for him to duo with Clix because that chance wont ever come again

The snipers, even post nerf 1, were way too op. I've literally been headshot while in a bush. Like I wasn't poking out, and my ar scope had no glare, and yet I instantly died for no fault of my own, because the other guy's guess of my location happened to be perfect. No gun should be able to do that, ever, especially in zero builds, the more casual mode
And, for the record, I've improved significantly recently and even hit unreal last season, so there isn't any skill issue on my part
@@shadegaming2038 no skill issue as in preventing scenarios where you could be headshot sniped. like you trying your best to be under cover. or just not walking in a monotone way but sprinting sliding and moving in erratic directions. all these prevent headshots snipes unless A. the enemy is skilled or B.the enemy is lucky. And even if you get headshot sniped continue with your life. It ain't like you were in a million dollar tournament. tournaments i understand because everyone is skilled in mechanics and aim but thats where game sense comes in.

I’m so done with when I’m keying the lobby then some kid who is horrible at the game sitting in a box with a sniper ruins my game hate all you want but these snipers are not very skilled
I like the sniper change as a casual. Snipers need to be 1 shot headshot, but it needs skill. The amount of times I’ve died to a sniper is not even funny, so it’s gonna be way better now
