Hello everyone and welcome back to Wartales! The Marvelous Mercenaries have returned from their sabbatical to take up a new hobby in mountaineering at 46:42, meeting the Prince of Alazar (who I'm sure definitely doesn't hate me) at 1:00:24, making some new furry frends at 1:03:19, escaping near death by cannibals at 1:25:15, and scheming to replace the Woodcutting wielder of Erkeshet at 1:46:47. This zone reminded me once again that proper positioning and pressing all of the buttons are key to not dying -- thanks for watching!

Dude, I have been away for so long that I have to restart from episode 1, but thank you for the content. Peace

NGL, really excited to see this series keep going, although the wait times in-between episodes though XD Hahaha but that's fair being a busy bee and all. Keep up the good content, man! Also for the black doggos, I volunteer Ebony and Entropy (cuz neither one of them is Ivory and they slow peeps haha) for edgy names, or Liquorice and Blackberry for actual cute pet names hahaha

Also I suppose Ivory (or Snowball for cute pet name) would go well for one of those Super Polar Bears if you're not gonna duplicate/substitute Ursun too :)

Thanks for the name suggestions, I like them quite a lot so I'll add them in next time! Hopefully there won't be another hiatus for Wartales. 😅

I'm astounded this series is still going. Gonna be honest, I didn't watch it since like... episode 10, but will always click and leave a like.

Hah, thanks for contributing to the algorithm gods! I'm determined to finish it, no matter how many hiatuses it goes through. XD

You will be facing groups that are level 13 and 14 in the West part of Drombach. There are also a few fights that are a bit harder.
Drombach has many roaming groups of zealots, animals, and bandits, that I had to constantly try to avoid. You should selectively repair armor after every fight, in case you get jumped (which will probably happen)
The area is very restricted with the mountains, so place lots and lots of pitons. Helps avoiding those groups, plus makes many shortcuts for moving around the area much, much easier.
Item drop levels are based on the level you fight, so basically fighting level 14s, dropped items require level 13. I suggest you level some party members to level 12 and upgrade gear, before moving on. You almost lost 3 party members against the cannibals. During the placement, you should try to place the tanks closer to the enemies, to take any of their first attacks.
When in town, don't forget to check your trade post vendor. You might be able to get some crocswine leather and comfrey (traveling merchants may also have comfrey). I always make full heal potions and have ten on hand.
You can grind some rat nests (especially if you have assignment) and quickly kill the brood mother, which will give you a few hundred influence, each time. Once cleared, use rat bait on it and come back after a day. Grinding Ghost packs many also be good (bear claws!).
I myself, had to take a break from Wartales. Every battle was getting tedious. Playing Adaptive and level 13, all the battles are against 20+ level 14s, with reinforcements. Ugh.

Thanks for returning with more pro tips! The game is certainly getting a little more frightening, and I've been debating heading to Belerion just to see what's going on with the pirates. That said, I'm still relatively confident that I can handle level 14 armies with proper positioning but I think I'll take next episode to start recouping my wounds, influence, and gold. I just have to brace myself for some editing. XD

Heading to Bellerion might be a good idea, a change of pace. Ship movement and boarding combat is very different.
But highly recommend to stop by the Arena of Legends in Mount Altis on your way. Different type of arena fights, where you fight three Champions per team, one after another,. After you defeated one, the next one enters, and there is no rest in between. You should be able to handle it, except the top ranked team which is very challenging. If you win a hard arena fight, you will be able to get purple armor sets.
Mount Altis is located between Tiltern and Ludern. You can get there by going southeast of Stormkuff to the Haven, head east and piton down to rat nest, head east/northeast past the inn (place pitons along the way to make it easier to return later). There is a Sepulcher to the south of the inn, if you have deciphered the tome for it.
And since you have to go through Tiltern, you can see if you can get the Hammy Ballard in a rat nest, and you can go full Bandit. Not that you are evil or anything ;)
If you plan to go bandit, head to the Brotherhood and steal all the books. You should probably do that anyway. Hehehe.
When you stop by Manheim, could head to the fence just to east and pick up some books for 180g each.
If you have any level 11s, you should make Akhedian armor, makes a HUGH difference, do heavy and medium first. You can skip helmets and weapons until you have more ore.
Also, you should try to replace the Inquisitor's weapon (BTW I had renamed mine Diana). I hate that setup to strike the next round, kill then NOW.
