It's still the word of God being preached and it's beneficial for men and women to understand both roles that God has for men and women. Husbands and wives. But also for children so that when children become men and women and live lives as an adult follower of Christ they have already been taught all of these truth and have a belief that is founded on Christ. The world wants people to go after what they want same thing as Satan same thing as a serpent in the garden. If we are in a Christian marriage and we find ourselves one teen something for ourselves and are insisting that our spouse give us what we want. I would suggest that we do what God wants. Jesus didn't go to the bride and ask the bride what do you want and I'll give you everything you want. Jesus came and gave the bride what the bride needs. My role as husband and father is different than my wife's role as wife and mother. If we find ourselves wanting our spouse to be like and how we live our lives. That is from Satan. We should be helping each other to conform to Christ and not to something we want. As a spouse we could have wounding or spiritual strongholds from our childhood that we carry into marriage and if we insist on raising Sheldon the way we want or not raising children the way our parents raised us, then we're focused on everything except What God Says. Everything is about living dependent on God and obeying his way of living.

I'm a father that has made mistakes, but I tried to bring Jesus into our home. My wife has bipolar and schizophrenia and recently had a paranoid moment where she thought I was was threatening her and had me arrested even though I never said anything or acted in anyway to threaten her. Now I'm out of the house and still paying for the mortgage, phones etc..please pray for me that the Lord goes before me to get my daughters back and my house and hopefully my wife.

God bless you, brother. Stay strong and trust in the Lord. He will bring you through this and will restore your family to you. You're going through the fire right now and it's going to be tough, but if you put your faith in God, He will bless you richly and take care of all that troubles you. He brings all things to a perfect resolution for those who have faith and honor Him with their lives. Stay in the word and stay in prayer. Victory is on the horizon!

I’m sorry Matthew praying for you! I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder about 12 years ago, I’m 33 now. Jesus was the only thing that delivered me and it wasn’t instant I progressively got better with understanding my authority in Christ and surrendering to him. When you’re on fire for Christ it causes these manifestations in others to come out because they are territorial.

So many teachers are mind warpers. My ex wife loved to be in control of her students. Luckily she seemed to be Christian (I honestly don’t know, she was a good deceiver) but if she were to let her liberal side take over, she’d be a complete monster.

At 36, I’m realizing that a father who belittles and shames you into obedience and a mother who abandons you to raise yourself “because the world won’t cut you any breaks” was actually not normal. I had no idea why I had so many anger issues stemming from nowhere as an adult and can’t control my emotions. I’ve been through probably 40 jobs in my adult life and am currently jobless. I have a lifelong pile of failures to prove the enemy right when he whispers in my ear that I’m absolutely worthless.
Watching how Mark talks to his kids evokes anger, regret, and resentment. Because I’ve never seen that before. And a deep sadness about how my life could have been so different. I forgive my parents, I’m a good son and am always the first to call, say sorry, I love you, etc, but honestly they don’t deserve it nor do they appreciate it. I’m their only son.

I truly appreciate this message. I’ve been devastated at the statistics regarding fatherless homes. My estranged husband left a year ago after 13 years of traditional marriage roles and no longer wanted that. He’s continued chasing his paramours and living wayward which is what he decided he wanted. The Lord has led me to where we are today and opened so many doors for our children. I do worry about how I can help facilitate more of a fatherly presence for them since I truly respect this critical role that I cannot fill.

I would just like to add that there are christian teachers that love and care for children. My wife and I both teach in Illinois of all places. While we can't be as unfiltered with our faith as we'd like, we do take every opportunity to mention it to the students as well as other staff. I feel like it is a great opportunity to build relationships and show real broken children God's love. They just don't immediately know that is what it is. Yes, there are policies and some things I don't agree with or support. We feel like God has us in this school for a purpose. When the day comes that they actually force us to teach against our beliefs, we won't do it. I guess I just want those that are unable to afford a private or Christian school to know that there are good people in public schools.

Bruh the hospital staff wasn’t being rude when they said “in case your wife has a venereal disease.” 🙄 She COULD even if she’s only been with you - random example, what if her mother was assaulted as a teen, and was an asymptomatic carrier for a disease, that she passed to your wife via birth, and your wife has been lucky enough to be asymptomatic and could pass it to your newborn? Or, what if her dad had a secret affair, passed it to her mom -> your wife via birth -> your newborn?
You get the idea. I DO see reasons to decline those treatments, but to scoff and act like Grace “being a stripper” is the ONLY way she could be carrying an STD is wildly ignorant.

My family doctor tried that with my daughter when she was 2 and he kept trying to tell me why my little girl needed the shot and I finally got so mad I got in his face and I said to him . I tell you what doc if someone does something to my little girl where she need that shot , I will have a shot for them and it’s called a bullet and then I said to him am I clear now and that was the last time any conversation like that took place and I soon after found a new doctor. I also had my daughter do her last 3 years of hs at home because I was constantly having to go to the school to direct there thinking and behavior. I think everyone involved was happy when I decided to home school her and we were traveling all over the country with her national team for women’s ice hockey so it was better for her and we lost her mom my beloved wife when my daughter was 14 and it was hard for her always seeing all the other kids doing mother daughter stuff so I was trying to reduce her suffering the best I could
