- After reviewing countless of electric cars, i was really looking forward to trying out this petrol powered beast!
And what a surprice! I was expecting it to be good, but not this good! Such a well balanced car, light on its toes, and just easy to throw around after dropping your girlfriend off.
One of the only true hot hatches you can buy from new in 2023!

I snatched away one of the last models from a dealer who had a green full optioned one in stock.

I love it to bits.
I had a MK7.5 Fiesta ST200 before this one. A great car, but very lacking in infotainment options.
But the MK8.5 ST like an ST that has fully matured into a proper well equipped car, without loosing it's fun factor.

How much was it?
I have the 2022 MK8.5 and i absolutely love it. Came from a Stage 2 MK7 but just love how modern the MK8.5 feels. Question: how to i get the Rev lights to show up on the digital dash?? That's awesome!!
bought mine and received 2 months ago. amazing car and i had m3, s2000, clio rs and many other. this fiesta is crazy and i have this and a gt86 and happy like a baby😜

for the love of god man, do more english videos on non electric cars, you are such a legend. by far the best review of the stx on line. I am a proud stx owner as well, and she is getting her legs stretched well. nurburgring, cheneveires. and every single mountain pass in france italy and switzerland, absolute mythical beast of a car.

I've just treated myself to one the same spec. It's my 2nd Fiesta,my 1st was a mk2 950 popular 😂 Some difference power,heated seats/screen/wheel it's a lovely car and I really enjoyed the review 🍻

Picked mine up in September last year in the magnetic grey finish with heated seats and steering wheel, and of course the B&O Soundsystem! With a ford discount ticket i got the car for £27,650 with 3 miles on the clock. Happy as a pig in shit 😊 arguably the best bang for buck in terms of money for performance on the market right now. Had 140mph out of her and she'll happily do more. Love it! Great review bud, well done 👏

@@YBCTR ford and topgear both promoted it as a feature on the mk8 with PP. But ive been searching for a while and cant see any kind of official info on it.

It is the last model, so the 8,5 generation ;). I dont know if its removed from the market in all markets but in Denmark they are now :((

Is it true, that there is no heated side mirrors and the bowl is plastic (not metal, like in previous one). If that, it's a shame. I'm going to buy the MK8 and the newest gen I like more because of profile and colours, but these side mirrors and bowl...
Interesting title - have you driven (for a meaningful period of time) or owned any of the other FiST's?
I own a Mk7.5 and Mk8 Edition but have not driven a Mk6 or Mk8.5 so cannot comment there. However if you rate the cornering potential of this Mk8.5 then try the KW V3 coilovers as they are fantastic. Also adding a short shifter really does improve accuracy of the gear change so much, even though it is great in standard form. Just better with a SS.
I am split over which of the two I have I prefer. I like my Mk7.5 (Infotainment aside) for the following reasons. Smaller steering wheel, better upper range grunt and sound, smaller wheels, better looks in terms of shape, better brake feel and better seats. I prefer the Mk8 for the coilovers, colour (though my molten orange Mk7.5 is very close behind), slightly improved interior, better torque and infotainment.
Also worth noting that adding a rear motor mount makes the MK8(.5) vibrate noticeably more than the Mk7(.5). It is worth doing however to get rid of the 'slop' when accelerating, most noticeable again in the Mk8 more than the Mk7.
I think they stopped making them on 7th July 2023 as well.

I have tried some of the older ST as Well, but never owned one. But this is still my favourite when it comes to driving but i like the retro design of the older cars more.
I don’t get the title? Since when is the Fiesta ST MK8 or MK8.5 been underrated? Its rated high all over, its best of his class, this car has never been underrated 🤷♂️

It doesn’t put out 320nm that’s the Puma ST, this puts out around 290nm.
No the mk8.5 does put out 320nm
The facelift mk 8.5 puts out 320Nm.

@chrismorrison1955 £27,000 for a 200bhp car that gets there quick handles very VERY well, looks good and brand new. Go to VW and match these performance stats and your easily spending £35,000 to £45,000 depending on extras. This car is cheap my man 😂
6 month old XPower for same money will give you over 400hp and if you want a sweet chassis buy old clio track car :)
