@@maximilianmaurer1609 I think the end was kind of open. There were too many questions let hanging about the characters, like Mario’s parents staying together, whether Leon is happy now and what’s gonna happen to Mario’s life because it looks as if he headed to self destruction and i wouldn’t like to think that he deserves that. So, a sequel could definitely answer those questions.
Thanks for telling me before I got too involved in the film. There's a Chilean gay film Los Fuertes (The Strong Ones) which also has a sad ending. The two in that film were made for each other, but one ended up moving to Canada to go to University.
I watched Mario more than 10 times because really amazed with all the talents casted in the movie and how great chemistry between Max and Aaron. They bring the characters Mario and Leon to life and i almost go too deep in the movie. Both of them performed perfectly and know every single details telling the story by their body language as well. Excellent movie!! Love from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

wow der Max kann ja perfekt hochdeutsch ohne Akzent, ich könnt das gar nicht mit meinem Dialekt
habe den Film gestern im Kino gesehen: Hammer. Die Schauspieler bringen alles realistisch und glaubhaft rüber. Das Verliebt-sein, die Annäherung, die Zweifel und die Verzweiflung. Echte Locations in Bern und Hamburg : Millerntor Stadion des 1.FC St. Pauli mit vollen Zuschauer-Rängen. grandios! bin sehr berührt worden und es wirkt ziemlich nach.
This movie deserves a sequel.

Ich muss Sagen Fußball gucke ich nur zur WM aber der Film hat es mir echt angetan wie gesagt die Drehorte in Bern und glaube sogar Thun war es haben mich echt Fasziniert und ich habe mir den Film auf blu-Ray geholt und schaue ihn mir öfter mal an als jeden anderen auch die Schauspieler spielen alles so echt das man denkt‘‘man sind die wirklich zusammen,, 😁 hehe
Wie gesagt für mich mein absoluter Lieblingsfilm und wünsche mir echt noch einen zweiten Film wie es mit den beiden weiter geht. 😍

ich schaue nie fußball selbst nicht zur wm oder em weil mir dieses intollerante verhalten der vereine und vieler spieler einfach nicht passt und ich es daher nicht unterstützen werde... genau wie ich die kirche nicht unterstütze mit kirchensteuern... ich zahle keinerlei kirchensteuern weil die schwule ja hassen aber geld von ihnen nehmen sie..... so heuchler die arme kinder f*******
Great movie! Both actors really acted well, chemistry between them to stuck u until the end, still can’t get over it ! So touching… although even i am straight, wondered that the movie especially their performances

I don't understand why the sexual orientation is so important while they play foodball!!! they are concentrated on playing! After the game, it doesn't matter if they have sex or love eachother! They would never start having sex while they play a game so how should be the relationship a problem?!? No foodball player say i can't havea wife or a relationship while i play!! Its ok if they havea wife! Its the complete opposide: the wife can watch the game in the VIP LOGE! Can a husband do this, too?!? So where is the fucking problem? Love isso wonderful and it doesn't matter if a girl loves a girl, a guy loves a girl, a guy loves a guy or a girl loves a guy!! Love is love! They are old enough so where is the problem?!? What did they think what they are?!? Can they say this love isa good love, this is good, too but this love is bad love!?!?
Love is love and other persons should not stick her nose in things what they don't have to judge! Devide they in business and private person! And the business don't have to say that this love what he did in the freetime is not good! Today its so hard to find real love! Our world is so quickly for 20 years you repair f.example your washing machine if they didn't work correctly! Today they buy a new one and waste the old one! And that's what they are doing with persons, too! If it starts to get just a little bit harder: new relationship! It would be better to fight for the love and repair small damages... i hope you arr understanding what i try to say! English is not my native language! Sorry for this but i can only improve my skills if i talk, hear or write an other language!!!

Ich muss zugeben, dass ich absolut kein Fußball Fan bin. Wahrscheinlich find ich es gerade deshalb schon schockierend, dass Homosexualität dort ein Tabu Thema sein soll, was absolut lächerlich ist, da es ja eigentlich um das können der Spieler geht. Ist auf jeden Fall sehr gut, dieses ganze Thema ins Kino zu bringen und zu zeigen, dass es Scheiß egal ist, wen man liebt. Ich glaube im Kino werde ich jetzt nicht sitzen, aber das Geld für ne Blue-Ray behalte ich schon mal bereit. Schließlich sollte man gerade solche Filme Unterstützen📽👍🏼
habe den Film gesehen. Es lohnt sich wirklich. 1A Darsteller und eine grandiose Chemie. Das ganze Gefühlsrepertoire wird durchdekliniert. Klassische, konventionelle Dramaentwicklung, aber die verfehlt ihre Wirkung nicht.
