Valeu Eduardo! Obrigado você cara! Eu demorei a fazer esse vídeo porque a Nux faz atualizações de firmware com muita frequência e sempre vem com novidades. Então eu corria o risco do vídeo ficar desatualizado se houvesse algum efeito de modulação novo. Mas percebi que as atualizações ficam mais em cima dos preamps quando add o 5150, o Princeton, o Lonestar, teve um reverb novo, um delay, teve o Auto-wah... algumas mudanças nos Scenes. :) então agora resolvi fazer as modulações e vou separar um tempo pra fazer outros vídeos da MG30 nesse estilo. Abração cara!

I think that it's with modulation that I really do value and need certain analog effects.
Chorus, less so than the others but my PastFX CE-1 is so warm and magical...
Also Phaser, Univibe and Electric Mistress style flanger i think sound quite a way off when modelled. We've come a long way but still...not ALL the way :)

Separa um tempo com calma, analisa os timbres que estão nas playlists das duas nos detalhes e deixa os seus ouvidos escolherem qual você mais se identifica. Cuidado com os olhos haha não deixe que eles opinem, dê voz apenas aos ouvidos mesmo. Prefiro a MG30 por ser dessa geração mais moderna de mult-iefeitos com Impulse Response, tem send/return, vem de fábrica com um footswitch externo e os algoritmos são modernos. Porém a GT1 também é muito boa, apesar de antiga podemos ter grandes timbres com ela também. Separa um tempo e analisa os vídeos das duas e deixa seus ouvidos escolherem qual gosta mais. Abração cara!

Thanks so much for your channel. You offer “sound advice” to be mined! I own both the Boss GT1 & the NUX MG 30 & am still “discovering” things on them. While I’d like something like the Helix LT , the thought of learning to use it is rather daunting.
Are my fears unfounded?

Hi Francis! Thanks! My advice is: always use as little as possible so that the original sound of the instrument is preserved. It doesn't matter if it's a cheap and simple multi-effects or something more expensive with many features. For example: If you need a clean tone, choose a preset and turn off all effects. Then choose a good clean preamp/cab like a Fender/Vox/JC120... Adjust the preamp controls and the IR EQ (around 80Hz for bass and around 7000/8000Hz for high frequencies). You should already have a good sound at this point. Add reverb (short or long, as you like). Choose one of the Compressors at the beginning of the chain, right after the wah and adjust it so that it doesn't become aggressive but gives some punch to the guitar sound. Instead of the Comp, you can use a Clean Boost, like the RC Booster pedal, to add that punch I mentioned. Turn on the noise reducer with smooth controls. Experiment where it will work best, right after the wah or after the preamp/cab. Here you already have a basic patch for clean tones. You can add OD/DS/FZ before the preamp/cab and adjust them to match well with the simulated amp. Turn on and off modulations, delays... always using the clean preset as a base. This applies to any multi-effects or pedal setup. The formula is the same. This was just an example. But the approach is always the same. If it's a unit with Helix LT, GT1000, Headrush Prime, and others, we gain in final quality because they have powerful processing power, and we also gain in the number of resources and controllability. However, each preset should be made in a simple way, even on these super equipment. I already feel it with the MG30 and its two processors compared to other older multi-effects I have. There is a purity and quality in the final sounds that I can't get with others.

Thanks! So I have modulations, delay and reverb in stereo. If we place the Cab last all the effects will sound mono.
Muitos criticam a MG-30 por possuir menos emulações de amplis e pedais que as concorrentes, porém acho que ela tem um ótimo custo benefício e pontos positivos por ser mais enxuta, as simulações me agradam bastante, pois nem tenho onde usar muitos recursos, vai demorar muito ainda para poder usar além do que ela oderece, em alguns casos é só usar o send return para incluir outro pedal de preferência e se diveritr.
Eu tenho uma, é bem pouco os efeitos, mas tem muita qualidade
Obs:digo bem pouco em relação as outras, pra mim e o suficiente

É amigos... :) eu já vi alguns comentários assim mas não acho poucos efeitos não kk Basta imaginar o tamanho de um pedalboard analógico com todos esses pedais que ela simula, seria gigante! E olha que nem estou incluindo os preamps e IRs, apenas todos os wha's, whammy, compressores, boosters, overdrives, distortions, fuzz, NS, Equalizer, modulações, delays e reverbs... haha Venho virando ela do avesso desde o ano passado e ainda não dei conta de tudo kk A playlist já tem mais de 40 vídeos e falta tanta coisa ainda. Os Vox's, Matchless, Jc120, uns 3 ou 4 Fender's que ainda não explorei, Soldano, CaliCrunch Mesa, o novo Mesa Lonestar... :) Pauleira!

haha imagina a gente montar um pedalboard e colocar 5 pedais de chorus, um Phase 90 e um Phase 100, Univibe, Detune, Vibrato, flanger, harmonizer.. kkk aff, só de modulações já são 13 pedais no set kk aí vem 3 compressores, uma porrada de drives haha 4 equalizadores :) Cara, é bastante coisa. Tem recursos á vontade pra gente. Pode ser que outras pedaleiras tenham ainda bem mais efeitos porém o que tem na Mg30 não é pouco não. E eles atualizam com muita frequência sempre trazendo novidades. :)

Hello! I've been on the road with the band since mid-December and I won't be back home until the end of this month (February 2023). Doing 5 shows a week on average and some rehearsals. I have high praise for the MG-30 on all counts. Accidentally took the first beer bath these days during one of the shows... I just used a flannel and continued the show, I didn't have to turn it off. And I have continually received many compliments from the public about my guitar sound on the PA systems in every city I pass with the band that signed me for these summer months here in my country. :) Thanks!

Hello! Thanks! Yes! Just connect your headphones to your MG30 and you can use it without any problems. Connect it to your computer using a USB cable only if you're recording or playing along with backing tracks for practice. Alternatively, you can connect the headphone output of your smartphone to the Aux In of the MG30, and then you'll be able to listen to your chosen songs or backing tracks and play along. Additionally, there is the loop and drum rhythms. Hi Mau and Thomas! Nux updated the firmware a few days ago. They are always bringing news. When I imagine an analogue pedalboard with all these modulation pedals, I don't think there are too few. :) For me they are enough. But each person has their own personal needs. Thanks! 👊🔥🎸

Hi Thomas! Procedure for all multi-effects: Before updating the firmware, save all your personal presets to your computer. After the update, do a "Factory Reset", calibrate the expression pedal and then bring your presets back to your multi-effects.

Are you listening to the audio in this video through audio monitors or headphones? The effects are quite evident. Some people listen directly from their smartphones without using headphones. These devices cannot reproduce the entire sound spectrum that was recorded. :)
